  1. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-1 Wiganpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Shaun Williams pen (60 mins)

Shaun Williams makes no mistake, side-footing into the top-left corner.

No chance for the keeper Christian Walton.

A boost for the Lions, who have won just one of their last 10 in the league, and a look of dejection on the face of Wigan boss Paul Cook.

  2. PENALTY TO MILLWALLpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Millwall 0-1 Wigan

    Well, quite remarkable.

A missed penalty by Wigan moments ago, and now one is awarded at the other end.

Reece James climbed all over Aiden O'Brien as the two challenged for a bouncing ball in the area.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Rotherham Utd

At times this game is like an 'attack versus defence' exercise, and the differing intentions of the two sides borne out a moment ago as Boro snapped one-touch passes around the box, but Clark Robertson's response was to hammer the ball away - 'if in doubt hoof it out'-style - up to half way.

There's no midfield, it's just defence and some rather bored strikers. Still the Millers wall proves impenetrable.

    More goals in League One!

Matt Clarke has got leaders Portsmouth back level at home to Burton. It's now 2-2 at Fratton Park.

And Luton have scored two in two minutes to go 3-1 up against Accrington. Disappointment for John Coleman's Stanley.

In the fourth tier, Crawley are a goal up against second-placed Exeter. That's good news for leaders Lincoln, who are still drawing at home to Carlisle.

  5. MISSED PENALTY BY WIGANpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Millwall 0-1 Wigan

Josh Windass spurns an opportunity to give the Latics a 2-0 lead at The Den as he blazes over from 12 yards out.

Millwall weren't happy with the award of the penalty, after Mahlon Romeo clashed with James Vaughan, and will see that as justice done.

    Norwich 1-1 Aston Villa

Villa have a decent chance to get back into it as Axel Tuanzebe gets on the end of Conor Hourihane's free-kick from the left, but the centre-back can't rise high enough and flicks the ball away from goal.

  7. Postpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Rotherham Utd

Middlesbrough getting closer and closer! Slick move down the left saw Jonny Howson teed up but his shot was blocked.

Rotherham throwing bodies in the way of everything, conceding corners but somehow getting the ball away from danger.

Boro fans growing impatient, managing that dissatisfaction will be key, because Rotherham have weathered the kitchen sink in the past five minutes.

  8. goal

GOAL: QPR 2-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Luke Freeman (57 mins)

After Wednesday forward Lucas Joao has a header which clips the post, Rangers double their lead.

The influential Luke Freeman is the man to get it, as the midfielder heads the ball back across goal from Pawel Wszolek's cross.

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Stoke City

Sheffield United remain the team on top here. David McGoldrick denied just minutes ago.

It is opening up though, as Stoke find space in forward areas. It's a decent contest this.

We said a couple of minutes ago that Burton would love to mark the 20-year anniversary of Nigel Clough's first appointment with a decent result at Portsmouth - the Brewers now lead 2-1! Jake Hesketh the scorer.

Meanwhile, Peterborough lead Joey Barton's Fleetwood 1-0 thanks to a goal from Rhys Bennett.

  11. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-0 Readingpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Gary Gardner (49 mins)

Gary Gardner gets himself on the end of a towering Michael Morrison header to nudge the ball in and put Birmingham in front.

Flying start to the second half for Garry Monk's side. Sickener for Reading.

  12. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Jordan Rhodes (54 mins)

From a corner, Norwich are level!

Jordan Rhodes is left unattended six yards out and, despite pressure from Alan Hutton, easily heads in past Orjan Nyland from Emiliano Buendia's delivery.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

That head injury is forcing Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham off.

He sustained it in an innocuous clash with Timm Klose.

Scott Hogan, who new boss Dean Smith knows well from his time at Brentford, comes on to replace him.

Goals at the top of League One...

Burton have equalised at leaders Portsmouth, Devante Cole netting his first goal for the Brewers.

Incidentally, Nigel Clough first took charge of the club 20 years ago today. A decent result at Fratton Park will be a nice way to mark that anniversary.

Doncaster manager Grant McCann said Sunderland should be "running away" with the division and the Black Cats will close in on a top-two spot if they hold onto a lead given to them by Chris Maguire early in the second period.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:53 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

Conor Hourihane tries his luck from 25 yards out, but his left-footed shot goes with of the Norwich upright.

A decent sight at goal for the Irishman, that.

  16. ouch!

Postpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Rotherham Utd

Not a great start to the second half for Middlesbrough, as influential forward Martin Braithwaite hits the deck inside the first 30 seconds after a jump for the ball with Clark Robertson. Eventually peels himself off the turf and back into the game.

We got a drop ball on the back of it. Don't see them very often. Mind you, there was no wild swinging, Rotherham knocked it uncontested back to Darren Randolph. Sporting, but dull.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

That is the end of winger Albert Adomah's evening, as he is replaced by Anwar El Ghazi.

  18. Postpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 23 October 2018

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa have had the better of the second half, but Albert Adomah has gone down with a leg injury, and Tammy Abraham has needed treatment for a head injury.
