Ex-Premier League striker on Final Score

It’s a half volley on the edge of the box. It comes off Beram Kayal - he’s got no idea it’s hit him - and he’s gone to celebrate! He definitely got the final touch.

  2. Defences on toppublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Tottenham

Plenty of effort from West Ham and Spurs in a feisty game, but the defences are on top.

This time it's West Ham who go close as Robert Snodgrass shoots goalwards and Toby Alderweireld blocks it over the top. Moments later, it looks like Andriy Yarmolenko has a bad injury, judging by the way he's pounding the turf.

    He's heading off.

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

Burnley offer a warning to the champions.

Jeff Hendrick's eyes light up as the ball comes to him in the City box after a quick breakaway from Jack Cork, only for the Burnley midfielder to see John Stones stick his body in the way of his shot and block.

GamerZombie: Watford handing Wolves a reality check! So much for that brilliant run of games!

Am I crazy to think we are watching Rafa's swansong? If so, wouldn't it be poetic justice to get one over the Seagulls as he departs for better things? If he leaves, I'm hearing lots of support for Moyesy on the terrace.

    Ryan Sessegnon (34 mins)

Sorry Cardiff fans. We jinxed you and your team.

Cardiff were looking the likeliest to score the next goal... instead it is Fulham.

Two attempts, two goals for the visitors. This time it is Ryan Sessegnon who slots in after out muscling his opposite number three Joe Bennett and clinically sweeping in from Aleksandar Mitrovic's pass.

The boy wonder has bagged his first Premier League goal.

Is this going to be the day for Cardiff? So far so good as they chase that elusive first Premier League win of the season.

  7. 'A real test for Wolves now'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Wolves 0-2 Watford

    Garth Crooks
BBC Sport football expert on Final Score

This is the magic of the Premier League. It's extraordinary football.

For all of your wonderful football and goals, Wolves, welcome to the Premier League!

It's a real test for the players and the manager now.

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

Speaking of Manchester music legends Noel Gallagher and Mike Pickering are in the house. The Etihad is their Hacienda.

They nearly have another euphoric moment as David Silva pops up in the penalty area to reach a loose ball before Joe Hart and poke it over his former team-mate.

Unfortunately for City, he lifts it over the bar too.

    Beram Kyal (29)

Silence at St James' as Brighton take the lead.

The ball is crossed from the right, and after it's nodded out, Jose Izquierdo fires in a low shot from the edge of the box, which takes a deflection off Beram Kyal past Martin Dubravka.

Spurs on the counter-attack, who do you want bearing down on goal in that position? Harry Kane, surely?

But the England striker's shot is blocked superbly by the sliding Issa Diop.

    Great tackle.

Chance for 3-0 to Watford at Wolves? Gerard Deulofeu has a free-kick just outside the penalty area, but smacks his shot into the wall.

Let-off for the hosts. They need to re-group otherwise this game could be dead.

Chelsea Warrior: Andre Schurrle doing well to remind Fulham fans he's a world cup winner in a previous reincarnation.

Am I crazy to think that Newcastle could become the next Blackpool? What a pathetic specimen our club has become with Ashley at top. I've been going for 50 years and genuinely worried about our future. Need 3 points today.

  14. Cheers to jeers for Hart (sort of)published at 15:25 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Burnley keeper Joe Hart was getting whistled by the home fans behind his goal before that Sergio Aguero goal went in - not for the saves he was making, because there had only been one, but for the time he was taking on his goal-kicks.

The rest of the Clarets team seemed equally keen to eke out a few extra seconds from throw-ins and free-kicks before City scored - it will be interesting to see if they show any more urgency now they are behind.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Southampton

If this match was an arm wrestle then Southampton would just be pushing back and getting towards the middle.

Nathan Redmond wriggles down the left to force a corner, but the winger's delivery is not the best and Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic gathers.

  16. goal

GOAL - Wolves 0-2 Watfordpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Roberto Pereyra (21)

    Have some of this.

Watford win the ball back practically from Wolves' kick-off, pile down the left side and Roberto Pereyra flips the ball over Rui Patricio with the outside of his left foot.

    Lovely finish.

    Bobby Reid

    What a turnaround for Cardiff!

Fulham's problems have been at the back this season - having conceded a league-high 22 goals - and that is their undoing again.

Tim Ream is caught flat-footed as the visitors fail to clear, Bobby Reid alert and pounces to slide in.

Little of note to report at Molineux and then bang. Etienne Capoue receives the ball about 22 yards out and smashes it thorough the legs of a Wolves defender, giving Rui Patricio no chance.

    Have some of that.

That’s a very, very good goal. Josh Murphy takes a step to the left so he can finish with his right. It was a very cultured finish.

  20. 'West Ham need to be aggressive'published at 15:19 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    West Ham 0-0 Tottenham

    Nigel Reo-Coker
Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

West Ham are not pressing too high, pressing from middle third. Tottenham are comfortable. I would like to see West Ham be more aggressive as the home team.
