  1. 'Sean Dyche will be furious'published at 16:17 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Man City 3-0 Burnley

    Garth Crooks
BBC Sport football expert on Final Score

It's a perfectly good goal. Burnley stop playing. David Silva gets onto it, fires in a cross and Bernardo Silva puts it away.

You don't stop until you hear the whistle.

Then it's a wonderful finish from Fernandinho.

You can't afford to switch off, Burnley were in the game and now they are 3-0 down. Sean Dyche will be furious as his players have done him a disservice today.

    Fernandinho (56 mins)

Game over. Burnley have gone to pieces.

The visitors can't clear their lines as City press, the ball rolling to Fernandinho on the edge of the box and the Brazilian precisely knocks it into the top right corner.

    West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

Getting a bit feisty as Lucas Moura gets clipped by Robert Snodgrass. Plenty of huff and puff, and great defending at London Stadium. But can West Ham muster a threat in front of goal?

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Burnleypublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Bernardo Silva

And there it is. What an odd goal.

Burnley fail to remember one of the golden rules of football: Play to the whistle.

When City appeal for a penalty as Leroy Sane is hacked by Jack Cork, everybody stops. Apart from David Silva who keeps the ball in play (or does he?) and squares it to Bernardo Silva. A simple finish for the Portuguese from close range.

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

The sooner City can get a second the sooner Pep Guardiola can stop anxiously pacing around the technical area.

Half a chance comes his side's way as Vincent Kompany meets a set-piece with his head, nodding towards goal and forcing Jack Cork to hack clear.

  7. 'A sickening collision'published at 16:11 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Newcastle 0-1 Brighton

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Premier League striker on Final Score

It was a sickening collision. Glenn Murray actually flicked the ball on, and the defender came in a millisecond later. I’ve worked with Glenn, he’s a good lad and he’s having a great season.

    Newcastle 0-1 Brighton

Positive start by Newcastle as they aim to avoid five home defeats on the bounce.

Jonjo Shelvey's shot is parried away by Brighton keeper Mat Ryan.

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

Good news for Matthew Lowton. He's sat up and looks to be OK. The stretcher beside him does not need to be used.

The Burnley full-back goes off for a moment or two and then jogs back on.

Games on again at Cardiff and Newcastle.

    Man City 1-0 Burnley

Another moment of concern, this time at the Etihad. Burnley defender Matthew Lowton blocks a David Silva shot with his head, then slightly staggers back with falling to the floor.

He's breathing very heavily as the medical staff race to his attention.

  12. 'Save of the season'published at 16:08 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    West 0-1 Tottenham

    Nigel Reo-Coker
Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

What a fantastic save. Great ball but Aaron Cresswell, great header by Marko Arnautovic.

Nothing many keepers could do about that, but a terrific save from Hugo Lloris. That could be the save of the season.

West Ham started the second half well, straight out of the traps.

Usingh Bolt: I always try to remain optimistic as a toon fan. But I genuinely can't see anything but relegation if we don't win today. Yes we've lost to all the big teams we've played by just 1 goal. However we haven't scored against any of the 'smaller' teams we've played.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:07 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

This might save of the season so far. Marko Arnautovic heads a left-wing cross towards the top corner, but Hugo Lloris somehow dives and tips it over the bar.

    World-class, that, Hugo.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Southampton

Whatever was said at half-time has had an effect on Bournemouth. The home side go hunting straight from the kick-off, Jefferson Lerma swinging a right-wing cross which Joshua King heads just wide.

    Close, but it's not right.

If you're just joining us, there were some worrying scenes at Newcastle and West Ham where Glenn Murray (head injury) and Andriy Yarmolenko were both stretchered off.

The West Ham man looked like he hurt his Achilles and has been taken to hospital.

  18. City fans pleased to see De Bruyne backpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

Man City v Burnley (15:00 BST)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

There were loud cheers for Joe Hart before kick-off but an even louder roar when Kevin de Bruyne's name was read out.

De Bruyne is back on the bench for the first time since suffering knee ligament damage in August. From the sound of it, I think the home fans are pretty pleased to see him back... and I'm sure he will get a similar reception if he makes an appearance in the second half as City look to put this game to bed.

De Bruyne managed 16 assists and eight goals in 37 PL games in a memorable 2017-18 campaign but has played just 30 minutes for City so far this season, when he came off the bench in the win over Arsenal on the opening weekend.
