    Robbie Savage
Ex-Leicester City & Wales midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

What a chance for Yerry Mina. It's a free header, he tries to guide it inside the post but puts it wide.

It's a well-worked free-kick and you have to take those opportunities in a game like this. It's massive.

Everton free-kick, wide left. Yerry Mina trundles forwards, man mountain.

And what a chance! It's Lucas Digne who whips in the free-kick, Mina wins it, he heads it down, into the turf and wide. Kop End.

    Massive chance!

Liverpool captain for the day Virgil van Dijk floats a rangefinder over the top of the Everton defence, nodoby has tracked Sadio Mane but he can't quite bring it down over his shoulder. Would have been a chance.

Nerves? Jordan Pickford comes out of his area on the right to mop up a long ball over the top, and slices it behind for a corner. Anfield enjoyed that.

Everton clear the corner safely enought though.

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on Radio 5 live

Liverpool showed a lot of mental strength last year in the Champions League - Jurgen Klopp took the fear out of it. They are a confident outfit and experienced. They have younger players, but the blend they have won’t crumble under pressure. They haven't hit the heights they did last year yet but I fully expect them to push Manchester City all the way.

  12. Best game of the season?published at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    FT: Arsenal 4-2 Tottenham

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker on BBC Radio London

What a thrilling game we've witnessed today, the best of the Premier League season to date.

Arsenal were worthy of the three points and it was a convincing scoreline in the end.

I always thought there'd be a blip for Tottenham today or in the coming weeks, because of the games they have, but they have to pick themselves up quickly because it's fixtures, fixtures, fixtures for them.

"Our team want to go up the table, we want three points."

    Liverpool v Everton (16:15 GMT)

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "Everton have taken a big step, Marco Silva is just quality, you cannot argue that. It is not about who has won the last four or five meetings, it is about today.

"We want players between the lines, Everton are really compact so Shaqiri has the skills to do that. Fabino and Wijnaldum have done well together, that's my life, to make these decisions."

    Arsenal 4-2 Tottenham

Spurs had a bright five or 10 minutes at the start of the second half but since their equaliser Arsenal have totally come back into this game.

With the attacking verve they've had, they've looked sharp and really dangerous, and they're worthy winners.
