  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 84 mins

    Bristol City 2-2 Norwich

Norwich City think they have a third goal... But the flag is up.

Jordan Rhodes almost caps off that earlier double change by grabbing a likely winner, but he's about a yard offside as he taps in at the far post.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 83 mins

    Bristol City 2-2 Norwich

    Good start, Marley.

He's shown a yellow card within 60 seconds of coming on for pulling back his man. Norwich have a free-kick in a dangerous position...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 82 mins

    Bristol City 2-2 Norwich

Marley Watkins, who left Norwich to join Bristol City in the summer, replaces Andreas Weimann for an eight-minute crack at his former employers.

He'll feel he has a point to prove, I reckon.

  4. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Bristol City 2-2 Norwich

Norwich City have 10 minutes to find a winning goal that would send them back to the top of the Championship.

    Reaction: Aston Villa 2-2 Stoke

Villa v StokeImage source, Rex Features

Aston Villa and Stoke City shared the spoils in a pulsating draw which saw the home side twice come from behind to seal a point.

Villa boss Dean Smith said "it was a deserved point" for both sides.

"I didn't think there was an awful lot in that game today and the conditions probably levelled out the home advantage," he told BBC WM 95.6

"People raise their game when they play us as that's as well as I've seen Stoke play."

  6. 'It's an incredible ball in'published at 79 mins

    Bristol City 2-2 Norwich

    Louis Carey
Former Bristol City defender on BBC Radio Bristol

It's an incredible ball in. The pace that ball is coming in at, it's an exceptional header too.

This second half has been really enjoyable. It's a good game.

  7. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 2-2 Norwichpublished at 78 mins

    Max Aarons

And one of the substitutes - Onel Hernandez - has had an instant impact!

He cuts onto his left foot before delivering a delicious far-post cross for full-back Max Aarons to head home at the far post.

    Game on at Ashton Gate.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

Norwich make a double change, Onel Hernandez and Jordan Rhodes both coming on as the Canaries chase the leveller.

  9. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

Goodness me, if Famara Diedhiou reacts a bit quicker here - not once, but twice - Bristol City could be 3-1 up.

Jamie Paterson whips a brilliant ball in which, because nobody moves, looks a whole lot worse than it actually is. And then, when Tim Krul makes a complete hash of gathering it, Diedhiou can't quite get there to tap home.

  10. 'They have started to respond'published at 19:02 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Reaction: Macclesfield 2-0 Crawley

    Sol CampbellImage source, PA

Speaking to the media after securing his first win as a manager in his first home League Two game at Macclesfield, former England defender Sol Campbell said:

“We have a fight on our hands and I want fighters who can play football at the same time and who understand that we want to get off the bottom and get momentum going.

“The lads put in a great shift. They have started to respond to how I want to play, it was a good performance.

“Overall we really controlled the game. This win will do the lads a world of good. We have to make our home a fortress, we have to be on the front foot and impose ourselves."

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 71 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

Emi Buendia receives a yellow card for failing to retreat as Bristol City line-up a free-kick. It's a bit petty... And the free-kick amounts to nothing.

  12. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

And, having returned to the field of play, Mario Vrancic has half a chance to make it 2-2!

With the ball dropping over his right shoulder, he tries a first-time right-footed volley across goal which ends up tamely dribbling towards the goalkeeper.

He was in miles of space in the area, but it's such a difficult technique to execute.

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

In the meantime, Tomas Kalas and Mario Vrancic have stayed down after a clash of heads.

But, following a wee bit of treatment, they're both back on the field and ready to crack on.

Warren Stephens: Interesting that both Leeds and Norwich fans seem to be confident in their superiority over rest of the division, yet both conceded 4 and lost to West Brom who are 3rd

Gavin Scott: So much credit has to go to the #NCFC, external board & Farke for what we have achieved this year. It's a perfect blend of youth, experience and players with a point to prove. The style of play lends itself to being successful in the Championship. We'll be up there in May.

Shuvam Sinha: Norwich will go up as long as they hold on to Teemu Pukki in January. Lose him and they'll probably struggle for a play-off spot

In Shavum's defence, I think he may have sent this tweet when it was 1-1...

Callum O'Dowda really has been impressive this evening, again spinning in the centre circle and looking to burst clear before being hauled down.

Bristol City are on the attack once more.

Where from here then, Norwich City?

Remember, Leeds United's win over Bolton Wanderers in their 15:00 GMT kick-off knocked the Canaries off top spot and only a victory at Ashton Gate will return them to the summit.

They have it all to do.

  18. 'We need a few breaks'published at 18:49 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2018

    Reaction: QPR 2-1 Middlesbrough

QPR v BoroImage source, Rex Features

Queens Park Rangers ended a four-game wait for a Championship victory with an impressive win against stuttering promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.

"Because of the situation with us not scoring goals I think the team is trying their damndest to win a game of football," said Boro boss Tony Pulis.

"We're better when we're solid and we've gone away from that a little bit in respect of trying to chase the goals.

"I think the players have reacted to the fact that we haven't been scoring goals and in their desperation to score we've lost our shape a bit. We need a few breaks. We certainly don't need decisions going against us like they did today."

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 60 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

Few players at this level hit a better ball from distance than Josh Brownhill - and he's very nearly scored a screamer for his Bristol City side here.

It's the same routine as the first half, Marlon Pack working the ball out to his midfield partner from a corner, and Brownhill sends a fizzing, dipping right-footed strike onto the roof of the net.

Meanwhile, Grant Hanley comes on for Cristoph Zimmermann.

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

Louis Carey's not wrong, you know.

In the aftermath of the goal, two further Bristol City attacks follow, the second of which is only scuppered by a really smart save from Tim Krul down at the feet of Andreas Weimann.

    The Robins are flying here.
