  1. 'It's lifted the crowd'published at 54 mins

    Bristol City 2-1 Norwich

    Louis Carey
Former Bristol City defender on BBC Radio Bristol

It's an excellent finish off the bar, giving the keeper no chance. All of a sudden, it's lifted the crowd as well.

The ball from Marlon Pack was first class and the run and finish from O'Dowda was the same.

Bristol City have turned the game on its head!

Republic of Ireland winger Callum O'Dowda, recalled to the side today, gets clear down the left-hand side and surges into the box.

Cristoph Zimmermann tries to get back to him but, as O'Dowda lashes a fierce strike towards goal, can only deflect it in via the underside of the crossbar.

Now then, I think Canaries captain Alex Tettey's probably got away with one here.

Tettey, already on a yellow card, hauls Marlon Pack down after getting caught the wrong side of the ball but the referee decides a talking to will do the job.

I think if he'd not already been booked he may well have been shown a yellow card there.

But, it must be said, Norwich have started the better.

They've completely bossed the ball since the resumption and Teemu Pukki, their top goalscorer, forces Niki Maenpaa into a save low down to his right with a snap shot.

    Bristol City 1-1 Norwich

Only West Bromwich Albion have scored more second-half goals than Norwich City this season - the Canaries have found the net 30 times after the break.

Daniel Farke clearly has the magic touch when it comes to half-time team talks.

It's been a quiet start to the second period so far here, though.

Let's hope the second half turns out to be as entertaining as the first. We're back under way in south Bristol.

Daniel Potter: I watch a lot of Norwich as my dad and brother both support them, it still baffles me how Tettey gets selected, I've lost count how many times he concedes possession and it results in goal conceded.

John Jack: Leeds & Norwich can do this - but Leeds looked a class above at Carrow Rd in Autumn - they schooled Norwich that day

Mark Fox: Norwich will go up. We play til the end and the only other decent team in the league are Leeds

The final fixture of this EFL gameweek is arguably the biggest, with East Midlands rivals Derby and Nottingham Forest doing battle at Pride Park on Monday night.

Frank Lampard's Rams have lost just one of their past nine Championship games at home and start three points ahead of their opponents.

Forest had been on a great run of seven without defeat before being turned over by Preston last time out.

Near neighbours both fighting for promotion and playing eye-catching football - it should be a belter and we'll have live text coverage on the BBC Sport website.

    Reaction: Hull 2-0 Brentford

    Thomas FrankImage source, Rex Features

Two Fraizer Campbell goals gave Hull City victory over Brentford, whose form under manager Thomas Frank even has the gaffer "worried".

The Bees have picked up just four points from a possible 30 since previous boss Dean Smith's departure.

"We are worried - if you only win one in 10, that's clear," said Frank.

"We need to look at ourselves, but you can see the effort they put in. You can't ensure anything in the world, but I am 100% sure that me, the players and the coaching staff will do everything we can to turn it around."

Norwich have arguably been second best in this first half, but that clinical finish from Marco Stiepermann has them back on top of the Championship table as things stand.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 42 mins

    Bristol City 0-1 Norwich

Norwich's Alex Tettey is booked for a poor challenge on Callum O'Dowda.

    Marco Stiepermann

It's a stunning goal! Against the run of play, Norwich lead through Marco Stiepermann.

Temmu Pukki brings the ball down nicely on the edge of the area and lays it off for Stiepermann, who bends a left-footed beauty around the keeper and in to the bottom corner.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay has stormed out of his post-match press conference at the Liberty Stadium, according to BBC Radio Sheffield sports editor Andy Giddings.

When asked about his future, he swore at reporters, questioning "how many times" he would be asked that.

After a good run from Callum O'Dowda, Jamie Paterson's volley is tipped over the bar.

    Those are two cracking saves!

    Bristol City 0-0 Norwich

Teemu Pukki races away down the left and has a great chance to open the scoring for Norwich, but his low shot is held by his fellow Fin Niki Maenpaa.

Perhaps the angle was just a bit too tight in the end.
