Some supporters clearly not agreeing with the earlier consensus that fans would rather their side stay in the Championship than go up...

Curtis McEntee: If you’re not trying to improve and compete with the best, then what’s the point? Why settle for mediocrity? You don’t hear any players asking to stay in the Championship.

Kyle: Crazy people saying they don't want to get promoted, loads of teams have gone up and stayed up and are not bankrupt. Look at Bournemouth and Brighton and Newcastle, even Cardiff who have not spent much are currently out of the bottom three.

On the other side of the coin, though...

Andrew Weller: I would love Pompey to win the championship and stay in the championship. PL is pointless for 80% of teams. Hopefully we go up this season!

Dean Plumley: Last season 2-0 down game over, this season Bielsa has changed everything, 2-2 what a game!

Ian Goldsworthy: We haven't had this "Do or die" attitude since 2010, We were known as the comeback kings back then and its resonating this time round.

This is indeed some fightback when you consider the quality of opposition and Leeds' injury woes.

The mood has suddenly changed at Villa Park.

That was a class strike from Jack Clarke, followed by Pontus Jansson's equaliser and it’s got the Leeds fans roaring their side on in search of even more.

“We all love Leeds and Leeds and Leeds” and “Marching All Together” both being belted out now.

Coming on top of such a stunning piece of ultimately unrewarded skill by Yannick Bolasie out by the touchline at the other end, there’s an electric buzz all round Villa Park now!

From the moment Leeds cleared their lines on that one, this game has been flipped on its head.
