    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

Played Olivier Giroud! He rises high to nod down into the path of Eden Hazard, who has two men on him and for once he can't escape. Shot blocked.

Not been Chelsea's day so far...

  2. RED CARD - Lewis Dunkpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Brighton

    Yellow + yellow = red.

Two bookings in the space of 12 minutes end Lewis Dunk's afternoon. The second is a late lunge on England team-mate Callum Wilson and seems him heading for a shower.

    Cardiff v Man United (17:30GMT)

    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

Cardiff City make one change to the side defeated at Watford last time out, as Greg Cunningham replaces Joe Bennett at left back. It is little surprise boss Neil Warnock keeps faith with his players who have won four of their last five home Premier League matches.

Cardiff: Etheridge, Manga, Cunningham, Bamba, Morrison; Arter, Gunnarsson, Camarasa; Hoilett, Murphy, Paterson

Robbie: Rafa out! Jose in! Enough is enough! Our goose is about to be cooked!

Jack: Watching this can see both Newcastle and Fulham have a few premier league players, but all round they’re both Championship level sides. Clueless in the final third.

    Breaking

Cardiff City v Man Utd (17:30 GMT)

A new dawn starts for Manchester United at Cardiff this evening - and so does Paul Pogba.

The France midfielder is included in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first starting XI as United's interim manager, one of four changes.

Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Pogba replace Eric Bailly, Romelu Lukaku, Diogo Dalot and Matteo Darmian.

Here's that line-up in full: De Gea, Young, Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.

    West Ham 0-1 Watford

Was that the chance for West Ham? Javier Hernandez usually snaffles these in his sleep. Felipe Anderson's cutback finds the Mexican striker, who miskicks to let Watford off the hook.

  8. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-3 Southamptonpublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Michael Obafemi (71 mins)

That miss didn't matter! The Republic of Ireland international Michael Obafemi becomes Southampton's youngest Premier League goalscorer with a really neat finish into the bottom corner. Nathan Redmond laid it on a plate for him and steered home.

Khalid: Remember seeing Dillian Whyte predict a CPFC win in this week's predictions v Lawro! if Roy's boys hang on can we have Dillian on regularly? Asking as a Liverpool fan!

  10. CLOSE!published at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Huddersfield 1-2 Southampton

As the hosts push men forwards, Southampton almost pick them of on the counter. Young sub Michael Obafemi is played through on goal but he screws a shot wide.

    Great chance!

  11. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Man City 1-3 Crystal Palace

I used to love defending in these sort of games. Everyone behind the ball, adrenaline pumping, plenty of cajoling and organising. Palace are defending like their lives depend on it.

The visitors have made 18 (EIGHTEEN) clearances already...

  12. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

Leicester are playing really well now, they look the more dangerous side as again Jamie Vardy goes close.

    West Ham 0-1 Watford

That could have sealed it. Roberto Pereyra drills in a low cross from the left which Lukasz Fabianski can only shovel out into this area. Luckily for the Hammers keeper, Troy Deeney can't get on the end of it and the home defence clear.

Ben: Sarri cannot be stubborn and play without a striker! Giroud may not be the best, but he brings others into play ans challenges defenders.

Deep: Don’t understand the craze over Jorginho. 2/3 of his passes are either backwards or 5 yard passes. That’s how he racks up the numbers. Not daring enough

    Bournemouth 1-0 Brighton

Junior Stanislas close to a second. The Bournemouth man curls a 20-yard free-kick around the Brighton wall, but can't quite get it back enough to trouble the net.

  17. 'It's getting tense'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Man City 1-3 Crystal Palace

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a bit tense here now, people are getting frustrated.

Pep Guardiola's right down his touchline now. He must be 20 yards out of his technical area, talking to Fabian Delph.

They're trying to force it and rush it. Get back to the game and keep it patient.

  18. 'Puel's faith restored'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

    Stephen Warnock
    Ex-Liverpool defender on Final Score

This was a big game for Claude Puel, I was at the cup game in midweek and a lot of fans were disappointed with the side he named as it was a big opportunity to win a trophy. He put a lot of trust in this squad today.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Leicester

Unplayable from Jamie Vardy, almost the perfect striker for this sort of game away from home. He chases a lost cause, keeps it in, nutmegs one defender and then drives into the area before going down.

Seconds later he has a penalty shout as Kepa spills a low Marc Albrighton cross, Vardy backheels the loose ball and it is blocked by a sprawling Cesar Azpilicueta.

    Hands?

    No. Knee.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 December 2018

    Man City 1-3 Crystal Palace

Here comes another A lister. Kevin de Bruyne, who could be forgiven for pulling that Home Alone face when Palace scored, comes on.
