  1. 'Spurs have been startled'published at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 1-2 Wolves

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on BBC Final Score

It's gone through the defender's legs. You can try and defend the goalkeeper, but he has to do better.

I think Spurs have been startled. They don’t know what’s hit them this half.

  2. 'A scruffy finish'published at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 1-2 Wolves

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Unbelievable. The ball trickled into the net, not a lot of pace on the shot. Raul Jimenez swivels and gets a scruffy contact on it and it dribbled past Hugo Lloris. He drags it through Toby Alderwiereld's legs and Lloris is beaten.

Johnny: See, this is the difference between Liverpool & Spurs. Not a chance will Liverpool surrender a 1-0 lead against a team like Wolves in such a pathetic, lacklustre way. Spurs look very appealing going forward but they lack a solid back 4 & always seem vulnerable.

Isaac Success hits the ball with little success on the edge of the box and it flies over the bar as Watford press for a winner.

    Raul Jimenez (84 mins)

    Oh my!

Does anyone want to make this a title race?

Tottenham, with men forward in pursuit of a winner, are short-staffed at the back and then stand too far off Raul Jimenez.

His 20-yard shot is not cleanly hit, but it is right in the corner and Hugo Lloris cant' get there!

    Abdoulaye Doucoure (82 mins)

    Phil McNulty

The news of Wolves' equaliser at Spurs has been greeted with understandable enthusiasm around Anfield - if it stays like that it will provide the perfect platform for Liverpool to try and strengthen their position at the top of the Premier League against Arsenal.

Liverpool would go eight points clear of Tottenham at the top as it stands, should they beat Arsenal.
