Not the most exciting game at the King Power but James Maddison has been running the show for Leicester. He's been everywhere in midfield, as you can see from his touchmap below.

It was his through-ball which also set-up Jamie Vardy towards the end of that first half - which has been the game's best chance so far.

Isaac Success looks like he is about to score for Watford but Federico Fernandez makes a crucial last-ditch tackle in the box to take it away from him.

A really smart ball by Will Hughes to set-up Success.

    Tottenham 1-0 Wolves

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on BBC Final Score

Tottenham are applying so much pressure that Wolves can't really get any spell of possession.

They’re sitting back and waiting to hit Spurs on the counterattack, but they can’t really get in the game at the moment.

Phil: Not sure why Watford get into these struggles with teams south of the table. Is it complacency or poor defending?

David: Watford look as though they ate a lot of mince pies at Christmas. Sluggish

Only two goals so far. Clearly they were all dished out on Boxing Day. Come on lads! Stick it in the net.

  13. 'Long ball not working for Wolves'published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Wolves

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wolves have enjoyed a bit of possession, mainly in their defence but every so often a center back might hit it long and they are just handing the ball back, Spurs are comfortably dealing with those. It would be nice to see them play from the back through midfield.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Watford 0-1 Newcastle

Isaac Success drives through the Newcastle midfield but his shot is comfortably saved by Martin Dubravka.

Adam Masina then goes in the book for a foul on DeAndre Yedlin. First yellow card of the match.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Wolves

Mauricio Pochettino's coaching clearly extends to some of his old defending dirty tricks.

The butter-wouldn't-melt Christian Eriksen is the unlikely hatchet man who trips up Adama Traore as the Wolves flier begins to rev up in midfield.

    Yellow card for Eriksen.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2018

    Leicester 0-0 Cardiff

Jamie Vardy makes an excellent run from the left and James Maddison finds him with an inch-perfect through-ball.

Vardy is quickly closed down in the box by Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge but the ball bounces dangerously back into the centre in the direction of the onrushing Nampalys Mendy.

Sol Bamba bravely sticks his leg out to intercept and wins a free-kick for a high leg from Mendy. Excellent defending.

Tottenham have been comfortable at Wembley so far, but Wolves have enough possession in the final third and quality in their ranks to pose a threat with the hosts' lead just at one goal.

    Fulham 0-0 Huddersfield

The opening goal at Craven Cottage is going to be a header. I can feel it. I can see it.

Steve Mounie - 6ft 3in - nods straight at Sergio Rico in the Fulham goal when he should have done better.

Neither side has been shy of slinging it into the mixer early doors as they used to say.
