Watford hit the post twice in the same move! They should lead.
Brilliant feet from Gerard Deulofeu to dance into the area, he side-foots a shot against the far post, and then on the follow-up Roberto Pereyra has more or less the whole goal to aim at but instead hits the same post!

As expected, it's Liverpool with all the possession early-on. Virgil van Dijk surprising misplaces a pass but the visitors quickly win the ball back.
Meanwhile, James Milner is still doing a thorough warm-up and Liverpool are avoiding passing it out wide to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Just a long ball forwards from the back, Andre Schurrle takes it down at full extension, almost Berbatov-esque, and then crashes a shot on the bounce over Tom Heaton and in, off the bar too.

Image source, ReutersIt's amazing what a touch of momentum can do in the Premier League. After back-to-back defeats in early December, Crystal Palace were nervously looking over their shoulder.
Three wins from five and only one defeat later, they have a six-point cushion above the relegation zone. Their hard work isn't complete though. Their results have been built on a solid defensive foundation but their lack of goals is still a concern. Incredibly, they've scored in only three of their 10 league games at Selhurst Park this season.
Watford needed to improve away from Vicarage Road and they have done - if they avoid defeat they'll at least match their points total on the road from all of last season.
