I think the referee might be right on this occasion.

He has reversed his own decision after Cardiff players asked him to consult his assistant.

Gopal Sharma: Leicester Manager has to go.

Devine Writes: Unless Arsenal start getting clean sheets I can't see them getting top 4. Could really do with a draw or Brighton win just to add a bit of flavour to the other fixtures tomorrow and Monday.

    Nigel Reo-Coker

I don't think the Brighton manager Chris Hughton could have done anything more with the way he has set his team up. That little bit of extra conviction and belief has to come from the players on the pitch and I'm not sure they have delivered that today.

    Oh my word...

This is a massive call by referee Lee Mason.

Florent Hadergjonaj nicks the ball form a poor Joe Bennett header, the two tangle and go down.

Mason awards the penalty. Then consults his linesman. Cancels that.

It's not even a free-kick on the edge of the area...

Dave Payn: Whatever reputation precedes Salah, that was a definite penalty.

Steven Jerjian: Gross clearly has a fistful of Salah's shirt, which would be a free-kick anywhere else on the pitch so by the rules it's a penalty. You could argue whether that should be the case, but Salah going down 'easily' or not is irrelevant

Jackpot: All the sour grapes out now! They would sign Salah in a second!
