    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I think Jurgen Klopp will make a change at half-time. The idea of playing Naby Keita on the left of attack hasn't worked here, bring Shaqiri on, Mane to the left and Salah down the right

  2. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

Did Mo Salah go down too easily? Who even knows any more?

Andy Robertson is close to a fluke equaliser as Fabinho's shot hits him, balloons up into the air and needs to be well saved by Julian Speroni.

  3. Salah 'pathetic'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Garth Crooks
BBC Sport football expert on Final Score

    Great players don't do that.

Mo Salah is in the box, Mamadou Sakho has a bite, Salah feels the contact and waits a second and then goes down.

Luka Milivojevic tells him what he thinks of that. It's pathetic. He's messing with his reputation.

    Marcus Rashford

My word this boy is on fire. Stick Marcus Rashford up front and he scores goals.

It's a sensational finish too, after a lovely bit of skill to beat his man in the build-up.

From a tight angle Rashford picks his spot in the far top corner and finds it. That's the way to mark your 150th United appearance.

  5. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

Liverpool haven't lost at home since Palace beat them - 31 home games ago. This would be a massive result.

    Long way to go though!

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Southampton 0-0 Everton

Hit the post again! That's twice now for Southampton in just a few minutes!

Again it's Danny Ings dancing through the Everton defence, they can't contain him, he jags inside the last man and is about to get a shot away. Andre Gomes is back to make a challenge but it ends up almost being an own goal, as he steers the ball against the base of the post.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Watford 0-0 Burnley

    Got to be! No!

Ashley Barnes screws a shot wide from about four yards out, he looked offside but there was no flag - ah it's because Watford defender Adrian Mariappa headed it to him!

    Big chance!

  9. Postpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Newcastle 1-0 Cardiff

Newcastle deserve their lead at St James'. They have been on top against relegation rivals Cardiff.

The visitors new signing, striker Oumar Niasse, has hardly been involved. He's only had three touches in Newcastle half.

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

The slight concern for Liverpool, is Palace have gone ahead, will they sit back and defend? No, they will do exactly what they have been doing and play on the break.

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

Zaha destroys Milner. He doesn't have much to hit, he has just one option and that is Andros Townsend arriving. He picks him out and it's a crisp finish.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Southampton 0-0 Everton

Southampton have been forced into an early change as Matt Targett has limped off. On comes Cedric Soares.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Brighton

This would have been some goal. Victor Lindelof finds Anthony Martial with a sensational ball over the top, Bonnuci-style. Martial brings the ball down perfectly and then tries to flick a finish over David Button but the Brighton keeper sticks up his left hand to save.

Brighton then immediately go up the other end and Glenn Murray gets in but his shot is wild and wide.

  14. 'A super goal'published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

That is absolutely incredible. Liverpool tried the high press, but Palace kept calm, played through it and got down the left hand side. That is the game plan absolutely summed up, it's a super goal and a super break. The manager is absolutely delighted, the plan has worked perfectly.

When Paul Pogba is playing in the right position and the manager trusts him...he's an awesome player to watch, best midfield player in the premier league at his best.

    Andros Townsend (34 mins)

    Hello!

The man who likes to score shock goals at title challengers is at it again! Andros Townsend hasn't matched his ridiculous volley at Manchester City but Palace lead regardless!

James Milner has been excellent buthe's not a right-back and he's exposed for pace by Wilfried Zaha, who skips past him and cuts back a cross which Townsend is able to bullet under the body of Alisson from about seven yards.

  17. Postpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Brighton

Brighton have responded well to going behind at Old Trafford. They swing a few dangerous crosses in and Man Utd don't look totally at ease in getting the ball away.

Glenn Murray then has an effort on goal from the edge of the area but it's dragged wide.

  18. 'Milner the most effective'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Liverpool 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

They are getting into brilliant positions, Milner get to the byline and it is defended well. He looks the most effective player in a red shirt. You put him anywhere on the pitch and he is absolutely outstanding. The amount of concentration Palace will need to keep defending like that is difficult to maintain.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Southampton 0-0 Everton

So close! Nathan Redmond has been a new man under the tutelage of Ralph Hasenhuttl and the forward is very unlucky here. Great pace to surge on to a throughball, his touch takes him clear of the covering challenge and he then rather scuffs a shot against the post.

That first touch from Pogba was quality. He's even shortened that ghastly stuttering run up. Times truly are a changin'
