For what it's worth, I think Brighton had a strong case for a penalty seconds before Burnley got theirs.

Brighton players make a big claim for a penalty when Glenn Murray's miscontrol hits the arm of Jeff Hendrick and then Burnley break free.

Ashley Barnes rounds Mat Ryan who pulls him down. Chris Wood plonks the rebound wide but the referee gives a penalty anyway.

Brighton are in need of a spark. Burnley look compact and well-drilled - the least you'd expect from Sean Dyche's side.

At the moment it doesn't seem Brighton have the guile to open them up and get back into this.

Heatahfajita: Burnley would have far more points if they had not signed Joe Hart. I don't know why Dyche signed him when he had 2 of the highest performing keepers last season. Worst signing of the season in my opinion.

I watched Brighton's game at West Brom on Wednesday night and their pretty approach play came to nothing until Glenn Murray was brought off the bench.

When he duly scored two.

He's not had a sniff yet today though.

These conditions are horrendous for defences and Brighton look to test out Burnley's with a couple of early second-half corners.

The Clarets though deal with them comfortably and clear the danger.
