  1. Harry Kane is 'one of our own'published at 12:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

Tottenham fans are evidently pleased to have Harry Kane back after his injury.

They sang his name as he was coming out onto the pitch and again as the match started.

Mauricio Pochettino only picks players when they are fit, so there was never a question he would have to start Kane on the bench but I wonder if he thought at all about leaving Son Hueng-min through the middle.

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

    Quiet start by Harry Kane.

He's touched the ball twice in the opening six minutes - but has yet to cause Burnley's defence trouble.

Dave Plummer: Best Spurs starting 11? I reckon so

Agent 37: Team of season got to be between either Watford or Wolves, both having excellent seasons so far.

Barry: Narrative 1) Spurs need to win today to prove their title credentials Narrative 2) Third place finish and CL quarters would be a great season Narrative 3) Forget the narratives, bring on the Spurs drama. Away to Burnley has never been this exciting!

  4. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

    Decent start by Burnley.

They win a corner inside the opening two minutes which is whipped in and Hugo Lloris is forced to tip over his bar.

The hosts think they have another corner but referee Mike Dean sees a foul.

I'm not sure anyone else did.

  5. 'Interesting test for Tottenham'published at 12:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Football Focus

Burnley battered Brighton last time out.

This is a different test for Tottenham and we'll see a different type of performance. It will be interesting so see Son play deeper.

As well as Burnley have improved defensively, I think they'll be fine to stay in the Premier League but I think Tottenham will get a result.

    Burnley

Burnley have named the same starting XI in six consecutive Premier League games for the first time since a run of 10 between December 2014 and February 2015.

Huge noise as both teams appear on the pitch.

It's a gorgeous sunny day in east Lancashire - a sentence I never thought I'd be writing in February.

  10. 'Burnley will give Tottenham a game'published at 12:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley v Tottenham (12:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Tottenham have been fabulous without Harry Kane but they have some very good players.

It will be interesting to see how he is today.

Burnley have a poor record against the top six, as well as they are playing at the moment.

Burnley will give Tottenham a game. Every single one of them will get stuck in to the tackle.

  11. 'Tough nuts to crack'published at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley v Tottenham (12:30 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray
Match of the Day commentator at Turf Moor

Two teams who aren't going anywhere. What? Bear with me…

Burnley won't be going down. I've never thought it at any stage, and in their current seven-game run without losing they've demonstrated a "strong jaw" again.

They've had their No 1 back in goal for those matches too and 'unbeaten Tom Heaton' will surely be going straight back into the England squad.

Fit-again Harry Kane will join him next month, and with Spurs winning all of their Premier League games without him and Dele Alli, they've shown that they won't be disappearing from the title race.

They're tough nuts to crack these days. Both teams.

Pressure on Kane. Spurs won all their premier league matches while he was out with injury.

The last time Tottenham and Burnley met there was late, late drama as Christian Eriksen hit a 91st minute winner past Joe Hart at Wembley on 15 December.

Hart has since lost his place to Tom Heaton, who now boasts the best saves to shots ratio in the Premier League based on goalkeepers to have played at least five games this season.

  14. Better form than Liverpoolpublished at 12:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley v Tottenham (12:30 GMT)

    Burnley

When Burnley were hammered 5-1 by Everton at Turf Moor on 26 December, the Clarets were stuck in the bottom three, three points from safety, with some beginning to doubt whether they would survive.

Seven games later and they're up to 15th - three points above the bottom three - while they remain unbeaten in the league in 2019.

Sean Dyche's side have taken 15 points out of the last 21 available - that's one more than Liverpool have managed from the last seven games.

Sascha Andersen: Is it just me or does Harry Kane get thrown back into the team too early after every injury, even if he's not 100%? Maybe this is why he seems to get injured every year around this time?

  16. More points for Wolves?published at 12:05 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Bournemouth v Wolves (15:00 GMT)

    Conor McNamara
BBC Radio 5 live commentator at the Vitality Stadium

It's Bournemouth against Wolves for me today on BBC Radio 5 live.

It is 12 years since any newly-promoted side has had as many points to this stage of a season as Wolves have right now.

  18. Kane to end Heaton's incredible run?published at 11:59 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Burnley v Tottenham (12:30 GMT)

Burnley captain Tom Heaton's good recent form has been well-documented, and since he returned to the side on 30 December against West Ham, his side have not been beaten in the league.

In fact, the Clarets have not lost a Premier League game in which Heaton has played since August 2017.

Can Harry Kane and co put an end to that run?

    Tottenham Hotspur

Life on the road is fun for Spurs.

They have won 11 of their 13 top-flights games on opposition soil this season - more than any other team

The only grounds they have not won at in the top-flight are Watford and Arsenal, while the last time they failed to win at Burnley was 2015.
