Nigella: it's ridiculous how strong @ManUtd, external squad is. Rashford, DDG and Martial missing and still their 1st XI features Lingard, Lukaku and Sanchez. That is power..

  5. 'Ozil nowhere near good enough'published at 19:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2019

Arsenal v Man Utd (19:55 GMT)

    Matthew Etherington
Former West Ham winger on BBC Radio 5 live

It will be tough for Arsenal, Manchester United are in great form and looking for their eighth win. It is going to be a great game, it always is between these two teams.

It is a big statement from the manager to not start Mesut Ozil. Their relationship seems like its struggling. I was at the Brighton game and his performance was poor, his application was nowhere near good enough so I understand where Unai Emery is coming from.

    Mark Lawrenson

We know Arsenal are not great defensively, and Hector Bellerin's injury is a big blow to them, but their home record is very, very good.

United have been very impressive individually and collectively under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but his winning run has got to end sometime.

I wish people would stop talking about whether Solskjaer should get the job permanently - just let him keep going, and see what happens.

Winning the FA Cup is a realistic aim for both teams, but the consolation for whoever loses this tie is that both teams are right back in the race for fourth place.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-1

  8. 'We might get more crosses into Lukaku'published at 19:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2019

Arsenal v Man Utd (19:55 GMT)

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BBC Sport: "These are the two most successful teams in the FA Cup. I’ve had some great games against Arsenal, both wins and defeats. To be on the outside will be different.

"Rom [Lukaku] gives us a physical presence up front, we might get more crosses into him. Alexis [Sanchez] is champing at the bit. We need to get him going again, he’s been out for a few weeks.

"The FA Cup final is a fantastic game to play in. But to get to the final you need to overcome difficult hurdles. We think this team will match and hopefully beat Arsenal."

Manchester United's men in form Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial may be on the bench - but there is no lack of punch in a side featuring Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez.

Suspect Sanchez may not be feeling the love from the Arsenal fans who once adored him as he returns to Emirates Stadium.

"We had a great team, and they had a very good team. There were some tackles flying in between the two teams. They were fantastic games."
