  1. Changes for both sidespublished at 60mins

    Aberdeen 4-0 Dundee

Dominic Ball comes on for Stevie May for Aberdeen. A midfielder for a striker, which suggests manager Derek McInnes is taking no chances.

Dundee boss Jim McIntyre sends on Benjamin Kallman to replace Kenny Miller up front and the veteran striker shows his frustration by throwing his tracksuit top down in the dugout.

It's a great finish. But I think they got lucky. McGinn's offside. The cross again is brilliant and McLennan meets the volley flush

  3. goal

    GOAL - Aberdeen 4-0 Dundeepublished at 55mins

    Connor McLennan

Referee Nick Walsh overrules the linesman's flag suggesting Niall McGinn was offside and, as Dundee and the winger hesitate, Aberdeen take advantage.

McGinn sends a high curling cross to the back post and Connor McLennan does superbly to volley home.

That's a goal and two assists in three games for the young Dons forward.

He won't get it any easier than that. A totally free header. Two Dundee players are lying on the ground. It was an easy one to take. I'm sure nobody thinks Dundee can come back now

    Andrew Considine

    Aberdeen GoalImage source, BBC Sport

It is a comedy of errors in the Dundee defence as two players in Dark Blue hit the deck as they look to clear a Niall McGinn corner and Andrew Considine rises unchallenged to head home from 10 yards.

  6. Postpublished at 48mins

Dundee start positively and Kenny Miller beavers into the Dons penalty box.

Aberdeen break to the other end and Stevie May curls a long-range drive just over the crossbar.

Former Dundee manager Neil McCann had plenty to say for himself last night on Sportsound.

He said there were "no square goes" but made "no apologies" about his time in the Dens Park dressing room.

    FT: Aberdeen 2-0 Dundee

Willo Flood, who spent three years with Aberdeen, is an interested spectator tonight.

The 33-year-old midfielder was last involved in a bit of controversy when leaving Dunfermline Athletic.

He signed a one-year deal in June after leaving Dundee United, but the Pars allowed him to depart to take up a lucrative offer in Indonesia.

However, he was then left without a club when the Bali United deal fell through because of eligibility rules.

I'm delighted for Cosgrove. When you've watched him develop, you didn't get that feeling he was going to be a great goalscorer. He's been a real handful throughout the game. He's been good in the air, playing with loads of confidence and finding the back of the net

  14. HALF-TIME - Aberdeen 2-0 Dundeepublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 December 2018

Aberdeen are well on their way to drawing level on points with third-top Celtic and they can thank Sam Cosgrove for that.

The big for Carlisle United striker now has four goals in three games and becomes the first Aberdeen player in three years to hit the net in three consecutive games.

Dundee are again looking like the side that suffered five defeats in a row rather than one that was undefeated in four before Saturday's defeat by Kilmarnock.

Dreadful defending from Dundee. He (Cosgrove) wasn't challenged in the box. He's done everything right. I can't see a way back for Dundee.

  18. Postpublished at 38mins

    Aberdeen 1-0 Dundee

Stevie May is working his socks off up front as usual but looking typically ungainly.

He races clear, but Darren O'Dea is able to intercept thanks to the Dons striker's lack of close control.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 35mins

    Aberdeen 1-0 Dundee

Being a goal threat isn't what Graeme Shinnie is noted for, but the Aberdeen midfielder leaves Darren O'Dea in his wake with a striker's turn inside the penalty box.

However, goalkeeper Jack Hamilton does well to push away the midfielder's powerful drive from close range.

  20. 'Perfect pass'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 December 2018

I don't know how Calvin Miller missed that. It was a perfect pass. Joe Lewis was nowhere near it. If they touch it, it's in the back of the net
