  1. KICK-OFF Hibernian 0-0 Rangerspublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

Hibs also make a midfield change, with Daryl Horgan replaced by Mark Milligan. That should mean Stevie Mallan playing in a more advanced role and the Australian sub taking on the anchor role.

  2. Lennon relieved at the breakpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

There was no happier man inside Easter Road than Neil Lennon when referee Craig Thomson blew his half-time whistle.

They look a shadow of the team that dismantled Celtic on Sunday but a lot of the credit must go to Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.

He has without doubt done his homework and ensured that neither Stevie Mallan nor Daryl Horgan are allowed time to dictate play in midfield.

The Ibrox side have looked much sharper going forward and if Alfredo Morelos is allowed the same space and time in the second period then surely he will add to his ever impressive goal tally.

  3. KICK-OFF Celtic 3-0 Motherwellpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

We're up and running again at Celtic Park.

The visitors make two changes with Aaron Taylor-Sinclair and Alan Campbell on in place of Gael Bigirimana and Ryan Bowman.

  4. Rangers look to McCroriepublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

    HT: Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Rangers are making a midfield change, with Ross McCrorie coming on in place of Scott Arfield. That must be some sort of injury problem, since Arfield was having a decent game.

I feel sorry for Charles Dunne he's not comfortable playing left back and he's being done every time. He gave away the penalty. Anthony Ralston's been in behind him several times. Motherwell are going to have to do something about that as this could go on to be a lot more

    HT: Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Will Hibs boss Neil Lennon be tempted to make changes at the interval?

He's already used up a substitute after that early injury to Ofir Marciano but he could look to the pace of Martin Boyle to try and spark some life into his strangely listless team.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will be asking for the same again from his side, although he will be frustrated not to be ahead in this one.

  7. HALF-TIME Celtic 3-0 Motherwellpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

After a tepid start, the hosts are coasting. Anthony Ralston got the opener on his first start of the season, and Scott Sinclair added the second from the spot. The bad news for the champions though, is Odsonne Edouard limped off with an injury, leaving them with a bit of a crisis up front. His replacement - 19-year-old Mikey Johnson - got the third right on half-time with a brilliant strike from distance.

  8. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 Rangerspublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

After a slow start, Rangers pretty much bossed the second half of the first 45 minutes, with Adam Bogdan making two good saves to deny Alfredo Morelos and Gareth McAuley going close.

Hibs have been really slack, giving the ball away on countless occasions. Nowhere near the levels they showed against Celtic on Sunday.

Alfredo Morelos continues to pester the home defence and the Colombian picks out Eros Grezda inside the penalty box. The Albanian has a lash at goal but Efe Ambrose comes lunging in with a crucial block and his touch sends the ball over the top.

Hibs are in trouble from the corner again but manage to scramble the ball clear.

    Mikey Johnson

He's been on the pitch for just a few minutes after replacing the injured Odsonne Edouard, but what a goal from the 19-year-old Mikey Johnson. He gets the ball on the edge of the box, drops the shoulder and skips past one challenge before firing a beauty off the bar and in.

    Celtic 2-0 Motherwell

Trouble here for Celtic? Odsonne Edouard is on the ground clutching his thigh.

With Leigh Griffiths taking an indefinite break from football and Moussa Dembele sold in the summer, they are now without a natural striker.

Edouard limps off and is replaced by Mikey Johnson.

  13. Celtic back on trackpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

    Celtic 2-0 Motherwell

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Things have imploded somewhat for Motherwell who suddenly find themselves two down having been fairly comfortable.

Charles Dunne has been exposed on both occasions. Firstly, by a clever ball in behind which released Anthony Ralston for the opener.

Minutes later, he was caught out by James Forrest’s pace and clearly upended the winger, allowing Scott Sinclair to slam home the penalty.

This is exactly what Celtic need. It will be interesting to see if more fluency develops now they have a clear advantage.

Suddenly, Hibs break and it's three against two with Daryl Horgan leading the charge. The Irishman goes alone and his shot from the edge of the box has the sting taken out of it by a great sliding challenge from Ryan Jack.

  15. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

Hibs are hanging on here as Gareth McAuley knocks the ball narrowly wide from a corner and from another set-piece Stevie Mallan makes a bizarre headed clearance on the back post, with the ball just inches off the ground.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

Adam Bogdan denies Alfredo Morelos again.

Stevie Mallan is having a bit of a 'mare in the Hibs midfield and his terrible pass back to Efe Ambrose puts the defender under all sorts of pressure. Ambrose can only touch the ball into the path of Morelos and the striker is through on goal but he can't get his shot past Bogdan.

Alfredo Morelos slips away from his marker and fires off a sharp shot on the turn inside the penalty area. Adam Bogdan spreads himself well and keeps it out with his outstretched foot.

Best chance so far - by a mile...

  20. goal

GOAL Celtic 1-0 Motherwellpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 19 December 2018

    Anthony Ralston

He's been Celtic's biggest threat going forward the young right-back and he gets his reward. It's brilliant work from striker Odsonne Edouard though, who holds off multiple defenders on the edge of the area before sliding in Ralston to calmly stroke the ball home.
