Livingston are down to 10 men and in controversial circumstances.

Darren O'Dea goes down in a challenge with Jack Hamilton, the Livi substitute pushes out at the Dundee defender, who goes down clutching his face.

A bit theatrical but it ends in a straight red card.

Dundee go so close to the lead as Jesse Curran's low drive flashes just wide.

An already bonkers game at Fir Park has just taken another odd twist.

Curtis Main has been giving his marching orders after his arm caught Stephen O'Donnell in the neck, with the Kilmarnock man collapsing to the ground. Referee Steven McLean initially flashed Main a yellow from one pocket, then another from his other pocket, followed by a red.

Hamilton defender Shaun Want fails to control the ball, Steven Naismith nips in to take it and Want tugs at the Hearts striker's shirt to earn his second yellow card.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on Sportsound: "We played very well. I don't think the scoreline quite reflects our performance and maybe the gap in the game.

"We certainly had to work for it. The last 15, 20 minutes the game started opening up for us.

"Thankfully we have that ability to keep fighting, keep working and to have that calmness to win the game.

"Scott Sinclair's working very hard, there's consistency in his game. He's a goalscorer. It was three very good finishes.

"Odsonne Edouard is a big talent. His finish was just fantastic.

"The big players normally come in the big games and those two guys produced for us."

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on Sportsound: "The physical effort from the players was outstanding.

"At 2-2, the game's finely poised. The fourth goal's the one that kills us. What we should be doing when young Lewis Ferguson gets the third goal - that should be an equalising goal at the very least - is having a go a wee go to try and get the winning goal.

"The result was harsh on us but you can't deny the quality of Odsonne Edouard. When he comes on fresh against tiring defenders, sometimes that can make the difference.

"My team showed exactly where they've been of late, went toe-to-toe with a good team. It was fantastic game. To score three goals against a team like Celtic should be enough to get something from the game.

"We're disappointed not to get anything for all the players' effort."

Another chance for Hearts, another chance opportunity. Sean Clare is played clean through by Steven Naismith down the right. Bearing down on goal, he squares it across to Arnaud Djoum but Scott Martin gets back just in time to nick it out for a corner.

Rangers threaten again as Lassana Coulibaly heads over from Daniel Candeias's cross.

Hearts close to a third goal as Ben Garuccio, moving onto a pass from Steven Naismith, fires across the face of the six-yard box. Callumn Morrison picks it up on the right, and his cross-cum-shot clips the top of the bar on his way out for a goal-kick.

It's that man again. Jordan Jones looks so dangerous at Fir Park and the Northern Irishman is a whisker away from his second. The game is stretched as Killie rampage forward with the ball worked to their left winger, whose curling left-foot shot skips off the top of the bar.

Rangers defender Connor Goldson has clearly recovered from the injury he suffered just before half time. He moved sprightly to meet Glenn Middleton's corner, but his header was deflected over by Hibernian captain Paul Hanlon.

Darren McGergor then needs to make a sliding block to thwart goal-scorer Alfredo Morelos.

Livingston are beginning to apply a bit of pressure of their own and Scott Pittman's powerful drive is saved at the near post by goalkeeper Jack Hamilton.

Hamilton struggle to clear a Hearts free-kick floated into the box, and after a bit of pinball, the ball falls invitingly for Michael Smith, but the defender can't keep his effort down.
