  1. goal

GOAL - Woking 0-1 Watfordpublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Will Hughes (13 mins)

Ah. My bad. Just after a good spell for Woking, Premier League Watford score the opener.

It's really poor defending from the non-league side. A corner is played along the ground into the box and Will Hughes meets it unmarked in front of the near post. The midfielder steadies himself and sweeps a left-footed finish inside the far post.

Woking keeper Craig Ross is furious with his defence.

    Woking 0-0 Watford

Woking are kitted out like Feyenoord and they're playing some good stuff against Premier League Watford. They almost get in at the back but Adam Masina makes the tackle.

    Sterling (12 mins)

    Lift off at the Etihad.

Kevin De Bruyne slides the ball into Raheem Sterling's path in the box, he jinks around one defender and shoots past Marek Rodak from close range.

Easy for City and they could be at least three or four up so far based on their number of chances.

    QPR 0-0 Leeds

We're only 10 minutes in but the game at Loftus Road has been great so far. Leeds hit the post in the first minute and now QPR go close through Aramide Oteh. Bailey Peacock-Farrell gets down well to save his shot from the edge of the box.

The Leeds keeper has to make another save at the resulting corner.

    Exciting start.

It's all City at the moment.

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Watford have started well, as you'd imagine. Woking have said 'let's have a look, let's see what they've got let's see how they've set up'.

They've got 11 men behind the ball, trying to make it difficult, trying to stay in the game as long as they can.

  7. CLOSE!published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Woking 0-0 Watford

Debutant Adalberto Penaranda is in the action early for Watford. He skips around a challenge on the left wing and almost finds the far corner with a skimming shot.

  8. Postpublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Sheffield Utd 0-0 Barnet

Non league Barnet have made a very impressive start at Sheffield United, the Championship high-fliers.

They have the ball in the net already but Shaquile Coulthirst's header is ruled out for offside.

It looked to be the right decision.

  9. goal

GOAL - Preston 0-1 Doncasterpublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    John Marquis (5 mins)

Shock on the cards at Deepdale?

The League One side take the lead through John Marquis, heading in at the far post from a Matty Blair cross.

Not great defending from the Championship side.

  10. Postpublished at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Woking 0-0 Watford

Woking's goalkeeper Craig Ross is in a lovely bright pink number. The non league side's opponents Watford are on the attack straight away but Ross stands and watches an overhead kick from Isaac Success sail over the bar.

Woking's assistant manager Martin Tyler is standing with his hand on his chin, leaning against the dug out. He's seen this all before.

The Rotherham fans are packed in to the top tier of the South Stand today and are already making themselves heard with chants of "Come on you Reds" and "Red Army" and loud cheers as the Millers finally get into the City half - after four minutes of play.

They have not seen their side win an FA Cup tie since 2013 and Rotherham have only reached the fourth round once since 1993 - so history is against them... as if things are not going to be difficult enough.

  12. Roy of the Rovers stuffpublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

Fulham v Oldham Athletic (14:00 GMT)

    BBC Radio 5 live

Oldham fan Pete Wild had a ticket for the away end at Craven Cottage today... but instead he'll be in the dugout.

Latics' interim academy manager was named the first-team caretaker manager after Frankie Bunn was relieved of his duties.

"My first Oldham game was 28 years ago, on New Year's Day. Now I'm the manager," said Wild.

"It's the stuff dreams are made of, Roy of the Rovers stuff.

"We've got a great FA Cup history, we've had so many great games, and hopefully we can keep that going.

"In the last 10 days things have changed dramatically for me. The lads have responded fantastically, we've had two games and two wins, and we're here to do a job."

    Man City 0-0 Rotherham

Manchester City have already rattled the Rotherham bar after a minute of play.

Kevin De Bruyne finds Gabriel Jesus at the back post and the Brazilian's header smacks off the woodwork.

    QPR 0-0 Leeds

Oooof! How close was that to a stunning opener? Tyler Roberts lets fly from the edge of the box for Leeds and ball clatters into the left-hand post, rolls along the goal line and hits the right post before bouncing out.

    You couldn't get any closer.

Around 6,000 Rotherham supporters have made the short 40-mile hop over the Pennines to be at the Etihad today. I can't say the Manchester weather is particularly welcoming for them, unless you are a fan of constant drizzle.

  18. 'We have to compete'published at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Woking v Watford (14:00 GMT)

    Watford

Watford manager Javi Gracia speaking to BT Sport: "It is another good chance for us to win. We are ready for the game. We need to show our best quality and enjoy the game.

On rotating his team: "Today is the best option for us because we have played four games in a row in a short time. To play with these players is the best for us.

"We have prepared for the game like we usually do. We will respect them. We know for them it is a special game and we have to compete."

In a thick Gateshead accent, Woking boss Alan Dowson adds: "I gave us absolutely no chance. We'll keep playing it down as best we can.

"Realistically, it's going to be a tough game, but we're here to have a go."

I wonder how Javi Gracia will manage with that accent. But Dowson did say he has a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale waiting for Watford's Spanish boss after the game.
