Tears as Fabregas bids farewell to the Premier League

Saturday may have also been the final appearance by Cesc Fabregas on these shores.

The Chelsea midfielder is reported to be linking up with former Arsenal team-mate and now Monaco manager Thierry Henry in the south of France.

The 31-year-old was in tears as he left the pitch at Stamford Bridge during a 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

He failed to add to his Chelsea goal tally, missing a penalty in the first-half.
