That is an unbelievable chance. He has to score there, Shinji Okazaki. That is just a brilliant chance for Leicester.

  2. CLOSE!published at 20 mins

    Newport 1-0 Leicester

Two big chances for Leicester and both of them are missed.

First Mark Albrighton looks certain to score after being found with a cut-back eight yards out but a brilliant block comes in from the Newport defence.

The resulting corner is headed back across goal and Shinji Okazaki just has to nod it in but can't make contact.

What a stunning goal. Robbie Willmott gets the ball on the right wing and watch him run with this, how direct is he?

He whips the ball in and it's a wonderful header by Mat, he guides it in. Perfect start for Newport.

Wes Morgan has been embarrassed with that finish.

I hope whoever owns the house you can see behind the stand isn't trying to watch Flog It.

That is absolutely sensational play down the left hand side. He beats him for pace quite comfortably and that cross is the stuff of dreams for centre-forwards. It is a brilliant header too - just off the post. Brilliant, brilliant goal. What a start from Newport!

GOAL - Newport 1-0 Leicesterpublished at 10 mins

    Jamille Matt

    The upset is on.

This is a brilliant goal in anyone's book. Robbie Willmott powers down the right wing and skins Christian Fuchs. The full-back is left for dead and Willmott stands a brilliant cross up for Jamille Matt in the middle.

Matt peels off the back of his marker and heads the ball in off the post. Delirium at Rodney Parade.

I think Leicester are giving the FA Cup a real go. There are five or six Premier League winners here today and they've reassembled most of that back four.

For Claude Puel to have been favourite to be sacked is ridiculous so he needs to do something special in the FA Cup.

    Tackle.

The excellently-haired Hamza Choudhury stops a Newport attack in its tracks with a fine slide.

It has been a good start to the game.

    Newport 0-0 Leicester

That's a crucial early stop from Joe Day in the Newport goal. After a bit of a scramble the ball falls to the feet of Rachid Ghezzal in the penalty area. He's in behind and gets a decent shot away but Day makes the save at his near post.

This is a big, big game for Newport. It is probably the biggest game of their season. You have to quieten the crowd while you can and that is what the Leicester players will be looking to do.

Positive start from Newport. They press and hassle the Leicester defence before Jonny Evans clears.

Fraser Franks then towers over the top of Kelechi Iheanacho to twice win a header. "Get innnnnnn," screams someone in the crowd.

    BBC Radio 5 live

Newport manager Michael Flynn speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "We only have a squad of 21 so it has really hit us hard. That is just what lower league squads are. We just need to get lucky.

"They have got a lot of belief. I don't know any footballer who doesn't go on the pitch thinking they can win the game. We need to back ourselves to go and do it.

"Anything is possible. Is it realistic? Probably not. But we have to give ourselves the best chance."
