Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, speaking to MOTD: "We are going to try and do well in every competition we play in. You need to do your job and we will see what we do.

"Wigan brought us out of this competition last season and we spoke about that. We had eight or nine players today who didn't play last Thursday and they were fresh."

On Phil Foden scoring his first home goal for City: "He's a young player and has to improve.

"He missed some simple passes and he needs to be solid but he is young. When he attacks the central defenders he is incredible."

    Man City 7-0 Rotherham

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola: "We took it seriously and do what we have to do to be a great club. Eight/nine fresh legs who saw what their mates did on Thursday. Everyone was really, really good.

"We spoke with Kevin de Bruyne yesterday to play 65/70 minutes for his rhythm and his injury. He played incredible, created chances and has vision that others aren’t able to see.

"Phil Foden's movement was incredible - 90 mins for his experience and self confidence, but of course he must improve. He will learn in future and play better.

Asked if Foden will leave on loan, the Spaniard said: "No way, impossible, he is going to stay with us many, many years."

Newport County v Leicester City (16:30 GMT)

    Conor McNamara
BBC Radio 5 live commentator at Rodney Parade

There's great excitement here, Newport took Tottenham all the way here last season and it needed a very late Harry Kane equaliser to prevent Spurs being dumped out.

This time round it's Leicester City and top scorer Padraig Amond, 15 goals for him in all competitions... he leads the line for Newport.

  8. 'The players gave it a go'published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Woking 0-2 Watford

Woking manager Alan Dowson speaking to BT Sport: "I am proud of the team, the fans and the volunteers. They gave it a go.

"We could have stopped both goals and if Harvey [Bradbury] had scored that goal maybe we could have had a chance to give it a go at the end but we will just move on.

"Harvey is a young kid and will have a big future. He will do well on Wednesday night I am sure.

"I think they [Watford] are a great football club. We needed to have confidence in ourselves but it was always going to be a big ask. I am very proud of the players. We were looking forward to the second half as a lot of their players haven't picked up many minutes.

"Watford have been great. Their manager has been great and the way their players have acted has been fantastic so we're really thankful for that.

"We have had a good start to the season and we are still up there and fighting."

  9. 'I like the attitude of my players'published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January 2019

    Woking 0-2 Watford

    Watford

Watford manager Javi Gracia speaking to BT Sport: "It was a good performance. I was sure it was the best option for us [to rotate and play fringe players] because we knew it would be a demanding game. We are happy with the performance and the result.

"We came expecting a lot of this [Woking] team. We played with the same respect until the end. I like the attitude of my players. They showed they are available for the next games.

"We had the control but winning 1-0 you can always score from one free-kick. We played well. I am delighted.

On selecting these players based on their good performances: "All of them are training very well. Now we have only three players injured and some of them will come back quickly. It is good for the team and the squad to have many different options.

"Now is the next final - the next game [in the fourth round]. If we lose we don't play more games. If it is possible we will play five more finals and win the cup!"

Sam Surridge then equalised for the League Two side but Fulham had the chance to hit the front again when they were awarded a controversial penalty.

Alexsandar Mitrovic missed the penalty and then Callum Lang scored Oldham's late winner in the 88th minute.

Premier League Fulham are out. Oldham are in Monday's draw.

    Sheffield Utd 0-1 Barnet

Barnet captain Callum Reynolds, speaking to MOTD: "It's unbelievable - that’s the only word I have at the minute. I'm so proud of the boys - it’s an unreal feeling.

"The boys were confident coming into the game and anything can happen in the cup. We could have even had more goals so we’re absolutely buzzing with it.

"The players we've got we should be doing better in the league and the gaffer believes we can play and we played so well today.

"I mean they're third in the Championship and we beat them at their ground. I can't believe it.

"It's going to be a good journey back and we’ll certainly celebrate it."

"The character in the dresisng room is phenomenal. We have a mixture of French and English lads who have bonded together.

"At 1-1 I thought let's just contain them, keep it at 1-1 but knowing we would get one more chance.

Troy Deeney on BBC Radio 5 live: "From the interview we had on Friday with their centre-half I knew it would be a frosty reception for myself.

"Fair play to Woking, they put up a good fight, but the professionalism of our boys and paying the right amount of respect to this game got us through.

"In the FA Cup everyone knows there will be a story and I put the message to the boys beforehand, that we didn't want to be that story. We showed a lot of respect with the team selection and did the job."

    FT: Sheffield Utd 0-1 Barnet

Barnet caretaker manager Darren Currie: "I am really proud of them. Chris Wilder said we deserved. I can't put it into too many words. It is such a wonderful occasion for everyone.

"We had a game-plan to get through the early part of the game and nullify them. We grew into it. The penalty came from good play and then we had something to protect. There were one or two scary moments but we came through it.
