    Huddersfield 0-1 Everton

Steve Mounie drags a shot wide for the hosts, who don't score as a rule and don't look like ending that run at the moment.

  2. CLOSE!published at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Arsenal 0-0 Cardiff

Bobby Reid hits the side-netting with a fortunately deflected strike but Arsenal go straight up the other end through Alexandre Lacazette.

The Frenchman teases Sol Bamba before the centre-back dives in with a tackle on the edge of the box. Arsenal want a penalty but it's waved away.

Cardiff then attack but the ball is cleared just in time by Matteo Guendouzi as it comes back across the face of the goal.

    END TO END.

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

On the rare occasion Newcastle have got forward into relatively decent positions, they just look a bit lost. They have obviously been working on defence all week.

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

Another Wolves attack, this time a decent save from Lukasz Fabianski to push away a Diogo Jota hit which may well have been sneaking wide.

Wolves have had nine shots now. West Ham one.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Fulham 0-2 Brighton

Glenn Murray is involved in everything at the moment. He bustles with the two centre-backs and it falls kindly for Davy Propper on the edge of the box.

The Brighton man smashes it first time and it crashes off the crossbar.

Rezaa: The problem Arsenal have is a lack of natural width to stretch opposition defence. Get that Ivan Perisic deal done

James: KDB booked for the referee being incompetent.

Khan: Deserved booking. If the ref tells you to wait for whistle - you wait

  12. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Newcastle 0-1 Man City

Close for Newcastle - Christian Atsu gets a shot away, it takes a big deflection off John Stones and lands on the roof of the net.

    Better!

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Fulham 0-2 Brighton

Glenn Murray should have his hat-trick. His header bounces into the turf and he only has to poke it home from a few yards out but hits it straight into the keeper.

  15. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

Ooooh that is tight! Wolves have the ball in the net but it's ruled out. Another brilliant cross in, from Jonny this time, Raul Jimenez flicks a shot onto the bar and Leander Dendoncker heads it home.

Raul was flagged offside. It looked very close to me on first glance..

  16. 'It is not a bookable offence'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Newcastle 0-1 Man City

    Danny Mills
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

What is the referee doing? It is unbelievably quick thinking by Kevin de Bruyne and he puts an inch-perfect pass to Sergio Aguero. It's a fantastic finish so why has the referee stopped him? It's not a bookable offence.

    Newcastle 0-1 Man City

    Gary Lineker
    Ex-England striker

Ridiculous to penalise the team that has been awarded a free-kick. De Bruyne booked for taking it before the referee was ready. Think it’s a law change that is quite rightly being considered. Take it as soon as you want.

  18. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Arsenal 0-0 Cardiff

Arsenal are still trying to find an opening. Lucas Torreira and Alexandre Lacazette combine in the centre but the Uruguayan holds onto the ball too long and gets it taken off him.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Fulham 0-2 Brighton

    Oh, this is close!

Ryan Babel makes himself some space in the centre, plays a one-two and blasts a low drive towards the bottom left corner.

It's almost creeping in but Mat Ryan dives down at the last minute to tip it around the post.

The snow is starting to fall heavily now at Craven Cottage.

  20. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

    Newcastle 0-1 Man City

Harsh, petty or just plain right? Referee Paul Tierney clearly tells Kevin de Bruyne to wait for the whistle, De Bruyne whips in a free-kick regardless and Sergio Aguero steers it into the roof of the net.

It's not a goal though, and De Bruyne is booked for his cheek too.
