Huddersfield's plight gets even worse, but what a win for Fulham to give themselves a chance. All of the bottom three are looking very vulnerable though.

Newcastle show what one win can do - they have climbed clear of the graphic...

    Absolutely unbelievable.

Somehow City were a bit sloppy at the back and Fernandinho gave away the decisive penalty very uncharacteristically.

It's an unbelievable result, not just for Newcastle, but for Liverpool too.

I didn't think this would happen. By City's incredibly high standards, they have been disappointing.

Fair play to Newcastle they had a game plan and they hung in.

What an opportunity for Liverpool tomorrow night. I thought this was going to be at a canter for City. When they went 1-0 up, I thought it would be three or four.

But they didn't take their opportunities and Fernandinho turned blindly for the penalty. Sloppy by the champions.

"How long's left?" Ole asks the fourth official. He wants to construct a winner.

Sean Dyche also asks how long... but I think he's wondering how long they have to hang on for.

They've done it in Ole time!

Alexis Sanchez' header is magnificently saved by Tom Heaton but the Burnley keeper can only palm it into the path of Victor Lindelof.

The defender smashes it inside the post from a tight angle to get his first goal for the club. What a time to score!
