They're not in action until tomorrow but Norwich and Leeds will be pleased with West Brom failing to beat Nottingham Forest.

The continuation of Bristol City's miraculous run lifts them to fifth - just a point behind the Baggies, who salvaged a dramatic late draw at home to Forest.

Martin O'Neill's side and Birmingham are now five points from the last play-off spot after dropping points tonight.

The bottom six remain in the same order but what a massive win for Bolton, who are now just two points from safety.

Draws for Rotherham and Millwall give them a bit of breathing room, but it looks like the final two relegation places will be fought out between five teams.

• Crewe beat 10-man Carlisle 2-1 and Swindon boost their play-off hopes with a 2-0 win over seventh-placed Forest Green.

• Sunderland miss the chance to move up to third after being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Blackpool.
• Doncaster move four points above seventh-placed Peterborough with a commanding 3-0 home victory over Southend.
• Sam Seddon's goal gives bottom side AFC Wimbledon a 1-0 win at fellow strugglers Walsall - their first victory in eight league games.

There are Forest players with their hands on their knees in a sense of deflation after their lead was snatched away in the final minute of normal time.

Forest had twice led, first from Stefan Johansen's own-goal and then when Jacob Murphy smashed in an equaliser, Ryan Yates cracked one off the post to restore the advantage.

Jay Rodriguez's penalty, after a controversial call from Lee Mason, brought parity and a share of the spoils.

Tough on Forest, Baggies will be delighted.
