Wilfred Martin: Garry Monk getting justifiable acclaim for improving Birmingham, but maybe brownie points should go to (striker coach) James Beattie. He improved Chris Wood immensely when at Leeds and now having similar effect on Che Adams.

Good point, Wilfred - James Beattie certainly wasn't a bad striker himself!

    West Brom 0-1 Nott'm Forest

    Roy KeaneImage source, Rex Features

Nottingham Forest assistant boss Roy Keane just giving the fourth official's lugholes a little test of their capabilities... roaring at the poor fella after a decision goes against the Reds.

Not a job I'd enjoy... he's certainly avoiding eye contact.

Meanwhile, Dwight Gayle turns and swings his right peg for West Brom... but the ball awkwardly squirts wide. Not his finest effort.

    • Doncaster lead Southend 1-0 through John Marquis' goal as they look to solidify their play-off spot.
    • Goalless between struggling sides Walsall and AFC Wimbledon.

    West Brom 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Slide rule pass puts Jay Rodriguez into space, but the red shirts converge on him to whip the ball away.

Forest break, Jake Livermore has to scythe down Ben Osborn to cut short the attack. Tactically cynical, and he takes a yellow for the team.

Five to go in the first-half.

    West Brom 0-1 Nott'm Forest

West Brom aren't too chuffed with the call that gave Forest a goal-kick, after Alex Milosevic had headed a corner behind...

Sums up their fortunes so far. Frustrated at every turn. They keep pouring forward though... All West Brom at the present.

  7. goal

GOAL: Oldham 1-0 Yeovilpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Jose Baxter (45+5 mins)

The first goal of the Paul Scholes era!

The hosts have had to weather a bit of a storm in this first half but right before the break former Everton man Jose Baxter has curled home a lovely strike to put the hosts in front.

Perfect timing for Scholes' first half-time team talk.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Bristol City 0-1 QPR

    Matt Smith's 45th-minute tap-in gives QPR a half-time lead at Ashton Gate.

Bristol City have had all the possession but have rarely threatened as they look to avoid a first defeat since November.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Wed

Pretty uneventful at The Den but Millwall are the only side who look remotely like scoring.

Kieren Westwood has had a couple saves to make for Steve Bruce's Sheffield Wednesday, who need a shake up if they're to claim three points.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Hull 2-0 Rotherham

Jarrod Bowen put Hull ahead after just two minutes and the hosts haven't looked back since.

Nigel Adkins' side doubled their lead thanks to Fraizer Campbell's tap-in and it looks like Rotherham's run without a Championship away win on a Tuesday will stretch to 26 games.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Birmingham 0-0 Bolton

If Clayton Donaldson had brought that ball under control a little sharper then maybe Bolton could have been in again, but his touch looped it to Lee Camp right at the end of the half.

At the other end, the ball broke on the edge of the box and Gary Gardner swiped it over.

Not a lot of genuine chances in that half, but Bolton will be happy to have kept out a side who have been pretty free-scoring of late.

  12. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 0-1 QPRpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Matt Smith (45 mins)

The curse of the former player strikes again!

Nahki Wells' header comes back off the post and Matt Smith shows his poacher's instinct, in the right place at the right time to tap home the rebound.

Bristol City's winning run is under threat and QPR are in dreamland.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Hull 2-0 Rotherham

Rotherham threaten for the first time for a while - a 25-yard shot from Will Vaulks well-saved by home keeper David Marshall.

The Millers can't fall into the Championship drop zone tonight, but they're just a point above Reading and could really do with making something happen.

    West Brom 0-1 Nott'm Forest

    Mason HolgateImage source, Rex Features

West Brom defender Mason Holgate, who was earlier possibly caught by a trailing Lewis Grabban boot, has a little set-to with Jack Robinson. Set-to possibly a bit stretching it. How about an exchange of opinions?

Either way, there's no love lost here in the first meeting at the Hawthorns between these two for nine years.

Forest just getting a foot in when it counts at the moment, but West Brom look increasingly threatening.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Bristol City 0-0 QPR

QPR's Matt Smith is a monster in the air and almost comes back to haunt his former side.

He heads Luke Freeman's cross downwards and watches Bristol City goalie Frank Fielding tip it wide.

A big save to keep the score level at Ashton Gate.

  16. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    West Brom 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Rekeem Harper wins the Baggies a free-kick after powering away from Ben Osborn down the right. Great position for a set-piece.

Inswinger comes in and Saidy Janko has to time his leap perfectly to nod it away before Forest clear the corner.

West Brom finding their feet in this game now as we approach the half-hour mark.

  17. Can Adams repeat Francis feat?published at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Birmingham 0-0 Bolton

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

There was a buzz of expectancy inside St Andrew’s at kick-off time tonight as Birmingham City go in search of what the home fans thought would be three routine points against struggling Bolton. And, almost as exciting was the prospect of whether Blues top scorer Che Adams could score again.

His hot streak of scoring in six successive games is the club’s best since Paul Devlin did the same back in 1996.

One more tonight and that would equal the seven-game scoring spree from Blues legend - and later Devlin’s Blues boss - Trevor Francis in March 1978, in his final full season at St Andrew’s before becoming English football’s first million pound man.

Only trouble is, for all their woes, on and off the field, gritty Bolton have so far not looked like a team who are going to ship goals easily.

  18. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Wed

Jed Wallace draws a save out of Wednesday keeper Kieren Westwood with a 25-yard free-kick, and Mahlon Romeo's follow-up is held by the Republic of Ireland international.

Millwall are dominating this one, with Steve Bruce's visitors yet to have a shot on target.

  19. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2019

    Birmingham 0-0 Bolton

Craig Noone goes close for Bolton!

First of all he slings a shot towards goal from a knock-down, which is beaten away by Lee Camp, and then after a shuffle on the edge of the box bends one just wide with his second attempt.

Best chance of the game, and it's gone to the visitors. Still yet to break the deadlock though.

    Paul ScholesImage source, Rex Features

Man Utd fan: Scholes will be a silent manager I reckon, just will want the team to get the job done.

Simon Atkins: Garry Monk is doing a fantastic job at Blues. Several seasons spent fighting relegation, now in reach of the playoffs. Che Adams on 19 goals, I can't remember the last time we had a player hit 20 league goals!
