Better from Spurs again, looking good now. Kieran Trippier duffs his cross out for a goal kick though and then clutches at his hamstring. He's going to carry on but you don't usually run those off.

Liverpool then attack, two on two at the back, Mo Salah should pass it to Sadio Mane but shoots and it's another fine block, this time from Toby Alderweireld.

Spurs' best moment! Harry Kane takes the ball into the area, on his left foot and hits a low shot which Alisson doesn't save too convincingly, rather paws it out into the danger area. Christian Eriksen arrives to smash in the shot but it's well charged down by Andrew Robertson.

The Anfield crowd grows anxious for the first time as they see their side lose the ball cheaply. Spurs have plenty of the ball down their left but Danny Rose and Dele Alli can't combine. At the other end James Milner finds space on the right and crosses for Roberto Firmino, but he heads over.

The only shot on target by either side in the game so far came via Roberto Firmino's goal in the 16th minute. It's not been a classic.

I thought Lucas Moura was Tottenham's best attacking player in the first half and you want to see more of Harry Kane and Dele Alli. This is a huge half for both teams.

Nice flowing move from the off from the visitors, Christian Eriksen rolls into a pocket of space on the corner of the area but, with a man on his overlap on the right he instead puts his knee over the ball and drives a shot over the top.
