    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

A night of centre-backs doing the unexpected? Shane Duffy opens up Leicester with a raking, 40-yard crossfield pass. Brilliantly hit to Anthony Knockaert, whose cross is asking for a tap-in until Ricardo sweeps up. Seconds later Brighton work over another cross from the left which Davy Propper slams over the bar.

    Brighton have had their moments.

Thirty yards out on the angle? Magnificent strike! It has come off the inside of the post, Heaton has no chance. That is what the game has needed and it will open up now

    Gylfi Sigurdsson (40 mins)

    Lovely stuff.

It's pinged down the right for Seamus Coleman to chase. The full-back lifts his head up, sees Gylfi Sigurdsson unmarked in the box and picks him out with a cut-back.

The former Swansea man drills it into the keeper's bottom right corner. The Cardiff fans who were booing him earlier are suddenly sent into silence.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Wolves

Nice build-up from Huddersfield. It's Alex Pritchard pulling the strings as he draws opponents towards him before cutting through the space with a few through balls. Eventually, his cross is deflected and comfortably cleared.

    Fabian Schar (24 mins)

    Ping!

What a hit that is! Sensational goal from Fabian Schar!

Nothing much on for the centre-back as he receives the ball maybe 30 yards out so he strides on, puts his head down and arrows in a shot which swerves away from Tom Heaton with the outside of his boot, it slams off the inside of the post and flies in!

    Wonderful goal.

Just seen it again - a very good save indeed.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2019

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

Top stop - but Anthony Knockaert should have put Brighton level against his old club! Brighton attack down the left and put in a cross, there's half a penalty shout for handball as it strikes Jonny Evans and Knockaert then hammers in a shot from the edge of the area and Kasper Schmeichel saves well. One-handed, fisted clear.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Wolves

Young Demeaco Duhaney has not really been tested too much on his debut. Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota have got away down the left on two occasions but apart from that, Wolves have not really threatened.

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

    Tony Pulis

Good quality coming into the box. Both sides will attack set pieces, and they will have to defend them well too. Matt Ritchie is playing wing-back after being a winger all his career. He has been fantastic with his energy and enthusiasm to play that position.

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

I've seen a bit of Harvey Barnes out on loan and in his cameos for Leicester since coming back but I didn't realise he was quiet this quick. Brighton can't deal with him on the counter-attack. He's lightning. He and James Maddison make a bit of a mess of the final pass again though and it ends with Demarai Gray having a shot charged down.

Aron Gunnarsson nut-megs the ref in his pass to Junior Hoilett. It slows the attack down though and Everton win the ball back before Hoilett gives away a free-kick in the middle.

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

Unlucky! Or a poor final ball, I can't really decide on first viewing. Harvey Barnes skins his man to break through a gap in the Brighton defence and power into the area. He tries to do the right thing and square it for Demarai Gray but he doesn't get the cross right and Gaetan Bong can clear.

If the Leicester fans' chief moan about Claude Puel was that the style of play was ponderous, it hasn't been tonight already.

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2019

    Cardiff 0-0 Everton

Aron Gunnarsson swings a cross in from the right and Kenneth Zohore's first touch takes him past the defender and in a shooting position just a few yards out.

He's rushing as he goes to hit it and ends up smashing the ball high and wide from a tight angle. Zohore was probably offside anyway but Everton got away with it.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2019

    Huddersfield 0-0 Wolves

Diogo Jota beats his man on the left, drives into the box and carries it along the backline before slotting a cross through to the far side.

Matt Doherty is running onto it - completely unmarked - but he skews his shot and the ball bounces into the ground before bobbling wide of the keeper's left post.

Tom Heaton makes his first real save of the night, the Burnley keeper getting down sharply so save a deflected effort from Fabian Schar.

    Gary Flintoff
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at St James Park

There is a lot of noise coming from the Gallowgate end this evening. The Newcastle fans are in fine voice. Dare I say there is a belief around St James’ Park that has not always been present for most of the season.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2019

    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

Good save! It's one you'd expect Kasper Schmeichel to make as Pascal Gross hits one from 20-odd yards but it takes a meaty deflection off Harry Maguire and is threatening to loop over the keeper until he claws it out.

    Brighton looknig dangerous now.

Theo Walcott looks lively. He does well to hold the ball up in the middle before inviting a challenge from Aron Gunnarsson, who snaps at his heels and gives away a free-kick.

Miguel Almiron shone on his home debut at the weekend and he's been bright early doors again, he hits a shot from 20 yards after a neat passing move but he never really gets a hold of it and scuffs it wide.
