Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert was unhappy with his team's performance at Newcastle on Saturday. Tonight he has shown just how unhappy.

Siewert has made eight changes to his starting line-up - and given a debut to England Under-20 full-back Demeaco Duhaney.

Duhaney is a former Manchester City trainee, who joined Huddersfield's academy as a free agent in the summer.

He needs to be good. Huddersfield have taken one point from their last 14 games.

    Everton

Everton manager Marco Silva: "If you did very good things the first three or four months we have to understand why we started to not do the same.

"We are losing points and not achieving the good results in some moments because of the detail, and so you have to work more and more to be more consistent within the team.

"I am not happy with our results (but) to change radically, no."

    Leicester v Brighton (19:45 GMT)

    Leicester City

Leicester caretaker boss Mike Stowell: "It’s a fantastic appointment. We’ve just told the boys in there, they’re excited. We’re focused on Brighton but you couldn’t stop them being a bit giddy beforehand. That’ll settle down. They’ll meet with the manager after the game."

Has it been difficult preparing for this game?

"No. They're good, professional players. The game coming so quickly has helped us. It’s just getting them ready. They’re ready for this game."

    What needs to change?

"We’ve got to cut out silly mistakes and conceding first. They’ve been playing expansive football, getting countered and not shutting the back door. We’ll try to address those tonight – and send them out to express themselves."

Kyle: I'm relieved Leicester have got Brendan Rodgers as that means there's more chance Rafa will stay at Newcastle. He is a decent manager and will no doubt do a good job for Leicester

Gerry: Key thing is he stands a fair chance of being the first Foxes manager in three not to be seen off by player power. As much as anyone can judge it looks a good fit

Suddenly, this fixture has a very different look about it.

The Leicester fans have certainly got their wish with the dismissal of Claude Puel. What will now be fascinating is the reaction of their players after the Frenchman's 16 months in charge.

Ultimately, seven defeats from nine games forced the issue - and four straight home defeats have been damaging.

Brighton certainly won't have welcomed the news or some of the results from the weekend. One point from the last 15 has left them suddenly nervously looking over their shoulder.

They must hope the change of manager doesn't bring a change in fortunes for the Foxes.

For Brendan Rodgers, there must always have been the temptation to go back to unfinished business in the Premier League, demonstrate his development among the elite once more and show he is still the man who was praised as a tactical innovator and bright, modern young manager at Swansea City, earning his ticket to Anfield.

He is not at the stage where he would be seriously considered for a top-six job - so as shots at Premier League redemption go, this is a great chance to prove his worth once more.

As recently as Sunday evening the message we were getting was that any move for Rodgers would have to wait until the summer but he has instead decamped to the east midlands.
