Arsenal manager Unai Emery, who has made six changes for the visit of Bournemouth: "We have changed a lot of players but we need to after Sunday because we played with big intensity and the players worked a lot.

"Today I think we need different players with new energy. We need to play with our quality and be organised.

"We need to continue in our way and above all play with the same intensity as we have down in our last two games here at home."

On needing to win tonight to stay in the top four: "We know every match is important. To win we need quality but also to change players and keep intensity.

"We need the three points tonight and we need to do a big job."

    Manchester United

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his injury-hit squad: "We'll have a good team out on the pitch, definitely.

"There'll be a chance for others. I've been sat on the outside getting a chance when this had happened. The players who came in (against Liverpool), Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira, I thought they did fantastic.

"There you go, that's the way it is. You've just got to be ready when you get it."

Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League but it is clear all is not right with Jurgen Klopp's team at the moment.

They had a big opportunity to go to Old Trafford and beat an injury-hit Manchester United side, but ended up producing a very disappointing performance.

When I think of Klopp's Liverpool teams at their best in the past couple of years, they are so dangerous because of the way they press sides, and put the opposition under pressure with their energy and the speed of their attacking play.

We saw none of that at Old Trafford, where they offered so little going forward that United could have played without David de Gea, who was never tested in goal.

  5. Injury crisis at Unitedpublished at 18:51 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2019

Crystal Palace v Man Utd (20:00 GMT)

Manchester United are having an injury crisis it seems. And it all boiled over in their 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Injuries to three midfielders meant United were forced to use all of their substitutes in a bizarre 25-minute period.

Nemanja Matic was injured in training the day before while his replacement, Scott McTominay, was making his first league start since Solskjaer took charge in December.

Ander Herrera was forced off, to be replaced by Andreas Pereira after 21 minutes, with Juan Mata limping off four minutes later.

Mata was replaced by Lingard but he appeared to tweak a hamstring and was himself replaced by Alexis Sanchez before half-time. Marcus Rashford played on despite also appearing to pick up an injury early on.

After the bitter disappointment of losing the Carabao Cup final on penalties amid such crazy scenes, this is probably the perfect game for Chelsea to bounce back - a welcome opportunity to put a huge dent in Tottenham's title dreams.

Burnley did enormous damage on Saturday. Another such blow would surely be fatal for Mauricio Pochettino's men, who desperately need to repeat their victory of last season, their first at Stamford Bridge since 1990.

That might spell the end for the under-fire Maurizio Sarri, who will have smoked many a cigarette agonising over whether he can afford to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga after his antics at Wembley.

  9. Will City run riot?published at 18:47 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2019

Man City v West Ham (20:00 GMT)

Pep Guardiola won't want to hear any excuses about tired legs after the Carabao Cup final. Manchester City have a big enough squad to cope.

A more relevant question is whether West Ham will start as poorly as they did against Fulham. They could have been three down in five minutes.

If they do, City will run riot. It's a game the hosts must win.

Marko Arnautovic must start for West Ham. Michail Antonio could also cause problems in his current form.

But City are on the top flight's best home scoring spree since 1965 and carry a goal threat from all quarters. Add to that the Hammers' poor away form, in particular at City, and it looks like a banker home win.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said he does not want "to kill" goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, but had not yet decided if the Spaniard was going to start against Tottenham tonight.

The 24-year-old has apologised and was fined a week's wages for refusing to be substituted during Sunday's Carabao Cup final defeat by Manchester City.

"I have to decide [if he will play], maybe yes, maybe not," Sarri said.

"He made a really big mistake. For me it's finished."

  13. 'Fulham fans think the season is gone'published at 18:41 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2019

This picture has no real relevance but it's an absolute belter of Craven Cottage. Look at the fans at the back!

Such is Fulham's precarious state, fans on one of their podcasts have taken to asking questions like: "Which Fulham player could be an Olympic shot putter?"

It's an insight into their mind set; most feel the season is gone. Barely anyone expects them to get out of this now.

The same can't be said of Southampton, for whom this is a momentous game. For all of the plaudits thrown Ralph Hasenhuttl's way, the same problems which beset Mark Hughes' reign now exist - they struggle to score and can't defend for a full 90 minutes.

So, in some ways, this is a team, in Fulham, that almost has nothing to lose, against a team, in Southampton, with everything to lose. For that reason, it ought to be a good one for the neutral.

  14. 'Proven to be utterly fruitless'published at 18:40 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February 2019

    Liverpool v Watford (20:00 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

With one memorable exception, Watford's journeys to Anfield have proven to be utterly fruitless - but Tommy Mooney is probably still dining out on that exception.

Mooney scored in front of the Kop in August 1999 , externalas the Hornets recorded their first (and still only) league points at Liverpool in a 1-0 win. That was their only away victory of the entire season, as they finished bottom of the Premier League.

Watford, like Liverpool, are a much better side these days. Javi Gracia's men have lost just one of their last 10 away games in all competitions, and put five past Cardiff in South Wales last Friday.

Liverpool should win - some might say that Liverpool must win. However, that's not to say that Liverpool will win.

All eyes are on the top of the table.

Leaders Liverpool have picked up just one win in their last five games in all competitions and need to find their form again... sharpish.

Manchester City are breathing down their necks. They go into their match off the back of an intense Carabao Cup victory over Chelsea - a taste for success fresh in their minds.

Third-placed Tottenham simply can't afford to drop any more points if they want to stay in the title race, while Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are sucked into a three-way battle for the fourth Champions League spot.
