Level with the near post Jannik Vestergaard has to hit the target but it is a really frantic start at Old Trafford.

Phil Bardsley own goal (15 mins)

    Calamity for Burnley.

Tricky winger Wilfried Zaha is, of course, heavily involved, skinning a home defender before playing the ball to the back post for Jeffrey Schlupp.

The former Leicester man does well to keep it in play, cutting it back into the six yard box but hapless defending from Phil Bardsley sees him miscue a clearance into his own net.

GOAL - Wolves 1-0 Cardiffpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Diogo Jota (16 mins)

I told you it was all Cardiff...What a goal that is!

Wolves turn into Man Utd circa 1999, Willy Boly brings the ball out from the back, Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota then exchange two one-twos like Cole & Yorke, with Jota running onto the final pass inside the area and slamming home.

    Lovely, lovely football.

Looks like Huddersfield might have to make a change. Jonathan Hogg, usually made of granite, is limping with what looks like a hamstring issue. Aaron Mooy is sent out to warm up.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Man City

    Nigel Reo-Coker
Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

It is still early but Bournemouth will be happy. They have limited Man City to simple passes but not anything that has caused them concern. The worst thing they can do is concede early especially with the form Bournemouth are in. They need the confidence.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

Southampton earn their first corner of the game and almost break the deadlock - he should really find the net.

Gigantic Danish defender Jannik Vestergaard with his long blonde locks, looking like an extra from Game of Thrones, rises to meet the kick unmarked but thumps his header wide from six yards out.

Sergio Aguero is in behind Nathan Ake and can get a shot away but the offside flag is raised. Very good call.

    Wolves 0-0 Cardiff

Wolves have started like a team who have made a load of changes when they never usually make any changes. Disjointed and a bit all over the shop. Cardiff the better side thus far.

The last thing United need is another injury.

Centre-back Victor Lindelof is commanding, calling for a high ball and winning the header, but clattering into the back of team-mate Scott McTominay in the process.

The midfielder's body jolted in a whiplash-style effect.

    Wolves 0-0 Cardiff

Nearly! John Ruddy is in goal for Wolves today and nearly has a nightmare early on. Victor Camarasa's cross is helped on by Aron Gunnarsson and Ruddy should easily hold it but doesn't, a real juggling job on his own line and he just about gets away with it...

  15. CLOSE x2!published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

Angus Gunn is earning his dough for Southampton today.

The former Manchester City goalkeeper has to react well to tip over Andreas Pereira's cross-come-shot, before smothering Romelu Lukaku's close range effort from the resulting corner.

Great start by the hosts who should really be ahead already.

First real shot of the day for Manchester City as Sergio Aguero turns and hits one from the edge of the area, it's well charged down though. Nicolas Otamendi goes close from the corner too, heading down and wide.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

United have set out their intent early on and come close to netting in the opening couple of minutes.

In-form Paul Pogba starts a move which reaches Romelu Lukaku inside the box, the Belgian does everything right by taking a touch and drilling a low shot across towards the far corner, but Saints goalkeeper Angus Gunn dives sharply to his left to make a stunning save.

I mean, Ashley Barnes has been in a rich vein of form recently but this is ridiculous, taking aim from around 40 yards out and smashing his shot into the stands.

    Would have been some start.
