Jamie Vardy has been prolific wherever he plays. I went to speak to him recently and he seems so happy. Brendan Rodgers has gone in and the training ground feels buoyant. He needs players around him that play to his strengths, and Leicester know what those are.

Lots of work behind the scenes in the early days of Scott Parker's reign at Fulham.

This is a voyage of rediscovery for a club that lost its way under Claudio Ranieri and the word is that Parker has the total respect of everyone at the club for both his personality and coaching capabilities.

Now he must somehow use that to pull off a miracle to keep Fulham up.

Southampton have only won one of their past six games and I can't see them ending that run this weekend.

Cardiff v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Cardiff's situation does not look too clever, but I am reluctant to write off their survival chances because of their manager.

Just when you think they are down and out, Neil Warnock does seem to have a knack of getting them going again - although I do think West Ham will come out on top on Saturday.

  9. 'A good opportunity for Rodgers'published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Leicester v Fulham (15:00 GMT)

Brendan Rodgers lost his first game as Leicester manager, at Watford last weekend, but this is a good opportunity for him to get up and running.

In the defeat by Chelsea, Fulham got a lift from Scott Parker taking charge of his first game, but it boiled down to the quality of the players - and they lost because they just were not good enough.

    Prediction: 2-0

  10. 'If Everton lose I'd be worried'published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

I am not sure what the Magpies' approach will be like this time but I think what happens in this game is far more significant for Everton manager Marco Silva.

After all their hard work last week, and the way they raised their game, if the Toffees went to St James' Park and got run over, then I would be seriously worried.

    Prediction: 1-2

Will we get the same welcome if Huddersfield go down?

It's windy here, but I'm hoping we're a little protected by the forest on the hill above the stadium.

I've spoken to a couple of fans outside and they're saying... This is it if they're going to pull off a miracle, they HAVE to win, draws are no good.

While there's optimism in the Bournemouth camp despite 10 away defeats in a row. They'll play their first choice front six today. Wilson is back.

  14. 'Desperate to resolve form'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Huddersfield v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Huddersfield head coach Jan Siewert: "We are still fighting. We look at each game for a performance. We won at home last time and it was a big boost for us.

"It was good to taste a win and we are looking forward."

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "We're absolutely desperate to resolve our away form. We want that confidence to return to the team and we recognise that our safety isn't secure. This is a big game for us.

"We're looking up the table right now, but it's no good doing that and not winning games."

  15. 'Dreadful away record'published at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Huddersfield v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Robyn Cowen
    BBC Sport commentator

It's probably best not to go over Huddersfield's situation again. The long and short of it is they're 13 points adrift of safety with nine games remaining - they're in a bit of bother.

Their only realistic hope is to give their fans something to cheer about before their inevitable relegation.

They did just that in their last home game against Wolves, and they have a good chance of recording consecutive wins at the John Smith's Stadium given Bournemouth's dreadful recent away record - they've lost their last nine.

The return of Callum Wilson after six weeks out would be timely for Bournemouth, who have won just one of their last six games without him.

Huddersfield make three changes to the side that was beaten 1-0 at Brighton last weekend.

Jonathan Hogg is out with a rib injury suffered at the Amex so Mathias Jorgensen comes into the defence. Elias Kachunga and Aaron Mooy also return with Karlan Grant and Terence Kongolo the players dropping out.

Huddersfield XI: Lossl, Bacuna, Billing, Kachunga, Mooy, Pritchard, Mounie, Jorgensen, Schindler, Stankovic, Durm.

Callum Wilson returns for Bournemouth after missing their last six games with a knee injury.

He is one of two changes to the side that lost against Manchester City last weekend with Jefferson Lerma also returning after suspension. Nathaniel Clyne and Jack Simpson drop to the bench.

Bournemouth XI: Boruc, Ake, Surman, Lerma, Daniels, Wilson, Smith, King, Brooks, Fraser, Mepham.

  18. Windy and chilly outpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March 2019

    Kelly Somers
    Final Score

As are most places in the country, there are high winds at Leicester - I virtually flew from my taxi into the stadium earlier this afternoon.

It may be a windy and chilly day, but there is a real sense of optimism in the air as the Foxes prepare for Brendan Rodgers' first home game in the dugout.

And despite defeat at Watford on his opening game - the first Leicester manager to lose their opening game since 2001 - there's real optimism from the fans and local press.

One change for them as his back three experiment ends meaning Wes Morgan is out, with Demarai Gray in. Meanwhile, Fulham are unchanged following their buoyant performance against Chelsea, which ultimately ended in defeat - they're still waiting for that elusive first away win.
