New signing Denis Suarez
Arsenal
New Arsenal signing Denis Suarez spent more than five years at Barcelona and worked with some of the best players in the world.
“The person I look up to most in the world of football is Andres Iniesta,” said Suarez.
“He’s always been my idol, ever since I was young. As well as the fact that he plays in a similar position to me, I was also able to spend two years with him - I learned a lot from him.
"It’s always been a massive compliment to be compared to him.”

Wigan have no desire to sell striker Will Grigg. The Latics have rejected a number of bids from League One side Sunderland.
Brentford midfielder Nico Yennaris has tweeted to say he has left to join Chinese club Beijing Sinobo Guoan.
Yennaris, whose mother and grandparents were born in China, joined Brentford in 2014 and has played 157 times for the club.
"I would like to say a big thank you to Brentford and all the staff for the last five years," he said.
"It’s a special club with amazing fans and I’ve enjoyed every minute.
"So many great memories with the club which will stay with me forever. Good luck for the rest of the season."

Arsenal 18-year-old midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe is to join Red Bull Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season. Contrary to reports there is no option to buy, it is purely a move for game time.
And here's a bit more from Arsenal...
Suarez played under Arsenal manager Unai Emery during a loan spell at Sevilla.
“We are very happy that Denis Suarez is joining us," Emery said.
"He is a player we know well and I have worked with him at Sevilla.
"He brings us quality and options in many different attacking positions, so he’ll be able to help the team.”
Arsenal

Manchester United have agreed a deal in principle for the sale of Marouane Fellaini to Chinese side Shandong Luneng.
This really feels like paving the way for a new era at the club.
Fellaini was the first significant signing of the post Sir Alex Ferguson-era and for some supporters has come to symbolise the problems United have had since the Scot's exit in 2013.
Six months ago, United were in the position of haggling over a new deal for Fellaini, who had allowed his contract to run out.
The two-year deal they eventually agreed is only a quarter way through but already the club are taking a hit on the £27m they paid Everton for him, to allow him to move to China.
It very much feels as though Jose Mourinho is being pinpointed as the man who wanted Fellaini around, when many fans were happy to say goodbye.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer evidently is not worried about losing Fellaini as he has Scott McTominay as a back-up midfielder instead, and the obvious conclusion is that United's hierarchy do not believe the person who eventually replaces Mourinho on a full-time basis will be bothered either.

Everton
It seems rumours of an attacking signing are swirling in the blue half of Merseyside - here's David Downie from the Blue Room Podcast:
"Reports of Michy Batshuayi making his way to Everton seem to be gathering pace. The purported figure of £35 million is a hefty one if true, but we are in desperate need of some firepower.
"Richarlison has been given the thankless task of leading the line alone for large parts of the season which tells you all you need to know about Marco Silva’s faith in Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. It’s no coincidence the Brazilian has netted in his last two outings in his much more natural left-wing position.
"If Batshuayi does come in, it’s clear Silva has faith in his fringe players to cover for Idrissa Gueye’s imminent departure. But I’m not sure how much of an improvement Batshuayi is on Tosun, especially at £35 million with a record of one goal in fifteen games at Valencia and I’m less sure we have the personnel to cover Gueye’s absence - Tom Davies’ fine effort against Huddersfield notwithstanding."

Brighton & Hove Albion
Now time to head to the south coast to hear from fan and WeAreBrighton.com writer Scott McCarthy:
"So far Brighton have had a transfer window so quiet that it would make a church mouse sound like a horde of teenage girls at a One Direction concert.
"Only one player has come in – the brilliantly named midfielder Alexis Mac Allister for £7m from Argentinos Juniors, and we won’t even see him until the summer as he is remaining in Argentina on-loan for the rest of the season.
"That’s a reflection of where we are. Not really needing reinforcements as we should be good enough to stay up but also not wanting to pay over the odds for players that could push us towards the top 10 but who might be cheaper come the summer when there is less pressure to get deals done.
"As a result, it should be a quiet deadline day at the Amex unless that mythical striker we’ve spent the last two to three years searching for suddenly becomes available. If he does, chances are we’ll have to fight off every other team outside the top six to get him."
It's fair to say that Sheffield United's new loan signing Scott Hogan is quite keen on making a fresh start at the Championship high flyers.
The forward had scored just 10 goals in 61 appearances for parent club Aston Villa, since joining them for £9m from Brentford in 2017, and moves to Bramall Lane for the rest of this season.
"I'm finally here and I can't wait to get started. There's no hiding from the fact it's been a difficult time at Villa, I've been there two years and had relative success, but personally it didn't really happen for me," Hogan said.
"I spoke to Chris Wilder on Tuesday and I know he's been trying to get me for quite a while now. I know he tried hard in the summer and I was very keen on coming, unfortunately circumstances stopped the move from happening then, but this month I've done a bit of battling at Villa and I've done all I can to make it happen."
