Between now and the end of March, Manchester United have got an FA Cup tie at Chelsea, two Champions League games, Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League.
So by the time we get to the end of March we will know whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can't not be given or can't be given the job - or if a decision needs to be made.
But at the moment Solskjaer has got the fans, to some extent the media and the board enjoying the ride.

Steve Cummins: Fellaini on his way and a new deal for Martial, great window for Manchester United.
Jordan: Anthony Martial is the best signing in this transfer window
Me and Deadline Day are done.
That's my deadline day stint done. It's been a drag hasn't it? Hopefully Tom Rostance will have better luck as he counts down to the close.
Here's hoping.
Two hours to go. Announce Messi.

Robbie Molloy: Is the reason it takes so long for a club to announce a signing because they're creating a ridiculously pointless reveal video?
Joe: Spurs have been linked with Batshuayi now. Bit early in the window for us to be getting involved.
Watford
Watford forward Michael Folivi, 20, is joining up with League One Wimbledon on a loan deal until the end of the season.

There's two sides of the argument.
City will say they brought those players through - Angus Gunn and Jadon Sancho is a counter-weight to this - and that they're not good enough to play for City, but go on to have decent careers.
We tend to think of clubs bringing young players through that [then go on and] play for the [first team of the] club they are training with. But that is not the way of football now.
Everton
Everton midfielder Antony Evans, 20, has joined Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.
You have to feel sorry for a reporter on Sky Sports News, made to stand outside Southampton's ground, in the snow, to report that there are no signings coming.
Ditto Cardiff.

No big money moves at all! Madrid waiting until summer for Hazard then...

Monaco must have 524,879 players. Either that or they must be selling their fans because they seem to sell a player every other day.

Paul Wellman: Why don't Burnley try to sign Cahill on loan for the rest of the season? Would be good for the younger players too and can still do a job!

This is all going to the wire for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
Spurs are the latest club to be linked with the Belgium striker but again there is nothing happening. We've had talk of loans with West Ham United and Real Betis, Everton have been in and out of the reckoning and still Batshuayi waits.
Could be back to Valencia at this rate.
Leicester signing Your Tielemans has been posing for the photographer with his new kit.
Three signings in the English Football League including a sixth signing from Port Vale.
Hull City
In case you missed it earlier, Hull have signed free agent Liam Ridgewell on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old defender left MLS side Portland Timbers at the end of their season in December.
Ridgewell, who is the Tigers' second January signing, could make his debut in Saturday's home game against Stoke City.
