Kadidiatou Diani goes straight past Kristine Minde...again...but the end product is still lacking. Her cross earns a corner but the keeper comes out to collect calmly this time.

What a wonderful game, it's a fantastic advert. There's quality all over the park and Norway are playing their part.

Absolute shambles. Norway looked like headless chickens at the back but with enough bodies in the way, the French shots are kept out.

Keeper Ingrid Hjelmseth should have caught the initial cross from the right but just flapped at it, inviting pressure from Eugenie Le Sommer, coming in from the far side.

That's the first time Graham Hansen has drifted into the space behind the France right-back Marion Torrent. That's where Norway have got all their joy in the first half.

Having not managed a single attempt at goal in the first 15 minutes, France had six attempts in the next 15.

Guro Reiten makes another smart run in behind down the left-hand side and cuts it back to the edge of the box where Karina Saevik is waiting.

Saevik opts to hit it first time and tries to curl it into the top corner but it's always rising. A few moment later, Caroline Graham Hansen's quick feet earns her a corner.

France just need to continue to put the ball down that right-hand side. Kristine Minde is really struggling.

    Again... how!?

Kadidiatou Diani might win this game on her own. She eases past Kristine Minde, who just completely misreads the flight of the ball, and drills it across goal for Valerie Gauvin.

Gauvin is stretching and it skips inches past her toe and out of harms way.

Caroline Graham Hansen is disposed on the edge of the France box and the hosts immediately look to break via Kadidiatou Diani.

The forward skips past one defender and bursts through on goal. She only has the keeper to beat but the angle is tight and she opts not to shoot, instead dragging it back and gifting it straight to the centre-back.

What a waste! Why didn't she shoot?

Almost 60% of France's attacks have come down the right and through Kadidiatou Diani. She's been the biggest threat so far.

I don't know how that didn't go in. France are finding joy down the right again and I don't know what Ingrid Hjelmseth was doing coming out for that ball but Norway cleared it for a corner.

It's better from France. It's sustained pressure, and they're using the full width of the pitch, which they weren't doing at the start.

Norway are struggling to cope with the pace and strength of Diani down this right side and Gauvin just could not get enough on it. Gauvin owes her a country a performance. Twice late for training, at a World Cup, that's just unforgivable.

Kadidiatou Diani is having a stormer. She drives at the full-back, cuts back onto her left and picks out Valerie Gauvin with an inch-perfect, low cross.

The striker has to adjust quickly and tries to flick it in with the inside of her foot and just takes the pace off the ball.

Moments later, Eugenie Le Sommer is inches away from getting her head on another cross.

Eugenie Le Sommer gets herself into space on the left side of the box but instead of looking for Valerie Gauvin, she goes for glory and the shot is blocked.

It takes Marion Torrent and Amandine Henry to stop Isabell Herlovsen on the left and the Norwegian still manages to win a free-kick.

Great strength and balance to hold off the defenders.

The danger with concentrating so much on Wendie Renard at set-pieces is that Kadidiatou Diani is free on the edge of the box.

Another French corner comes all the way through to Amandine Henry on the right and she lays it off to Kadidiatou Diani to run onto.

The centre-forward hits it first time but just drags it wide of the left post. Not a bad effort though!

The set-piece is only as good as the delivery and so far France haven't put the right ball in for Wendie Renard to attack.
