A long ball causes problems for the Cameroon defence as Toni Duggan wins the ball in the air in the middle and manages to poke it through to Jodie Taylor.

The Euro 2017 Golden Boot winner lifts it over the on-rushing keeper Annette Ngo Ndom but Cameroon defender Estelle Johnson is there to make a crucial goalline clearance.

    England 3-0 Cameroon

Keira Walsh sees the run of Nikita Parris and plays a terrific through ball down the right. The new Lyon winger drills it in low, looking for Jodie Taylor in the centre, but the keeper does well to leap over the ball and bring it in with two hands.

I thought the referee had awarded a penalty.

Didn't she have her arm out and was pointing?

Javel: I think the ref did right. You have to allow for emotion in a competition that is the pinnacle of players careers. I'd give them a verbal warning that they don't disrupt the match. Forfeiting the match would penalise the fans.

Tony: England are excellent one moment and oddly bad at others. Difficult to judge from this odd and mostly one sided game how they will do. Norway a completely different challenge.

The attendance for today is confirmed as 20,148.

The sound of whistles and drums continue from the section of Cameroon fans sat to the right of the press box, while to the left the England band continue their tunes.

They are trying to lift the atmosphere which, as you can imagine, is a bit strange inside Stade Du Hainaut.

  12. CLOSE!published at 76 mins

    England 3-0 Cameroon

Jodie Taylor starts the move with a lovely nod-on for Fran Kirby. The Chelsea midfielder holds onto the ball for too long though. Nikita Parris wanted it early on the right.

Eventually she feeds it through and some neat one-touch passing sets Taylor up. She end sup firing way over the bar!

Phil Neville said prior to this game that lapses from England are confined to small periods of games. While that is true again today, the second-half dips keep on happening, and for some reason they are not yet proving costly.

Sean: Getting the job done BUT our decision making when playing out from back is poor again. Karen Bardsley needs to put her foot through it, Steph Houghton tries an unnecessary worldy pass too many times and Millie Bright just goes to sleep. Better teams wont let us get away with it.

The referee was also given a nudge in the back by Cameroon's Jeannette Yango in the build-up to that chance for Michaela Abam a few minutes ago.

It looked purely accidental but the ref wasn't happy. She's had a rough day to be fair!

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    England 3-0 Cameroon

Among all that, Cameroon made another substitution as Michaela Abam was replaced by Ninon Abena.
