Keira Walsh wins the ball in midfield and moves it on to Ellen White. The striker touches it left to Fran Kirby first time.

Kirby cuts inside and sees the run of Nikita Parris. She picks her out with a brilliant curling ball towards the back post but Parris' header is well saved.

Toni Duggan has got better at this World Cup.

When she first came back after injury she looked a bit rusty and in the last game I thought she got better and better. She has started brightly against Norway.

Karen Bardsley did the right thing to drop off and receive the backpass but then she has to play it simple and clear the ball.

Steph Houghton gets there in front of Isabell Herlovsen and coolly plays it back to Karen Bardsley.

The England keeper should clear it first time but has a touch and it's a very poor one. She has to slide and hoof it away from Herlovsen, who was inches away from poking it into an empty net.

Toni Duggan is hacked from behind by Vilde Risa and wins a free-kick on the left wing. It's played back to Millie Bright, who plays it long to Ellen White.

It's eventually played out to Nikita Parris on the right but her combination with Lucy Bronze doesn't come off.

The replay shows it actually bounces off Demi Stokes' foot and into her arm before hitting Nikita Parris.

It would be a ridiculous penalty to give - and the referee got that one right. Here's what the new law says counts as handball in that kind of incident:

... the ball touches a player’s hand/arm when it is above their shoulder (unless the player has deliberately played the ball which then touches their hand/arm)

Ingrid Engen has so much space on the edge of the England box. She waits and waits to shoot before slamming it into Demi Stokes - who has been excellent so far.

It rebounds off Stokes and onto Nikita Parris. The Norwegians are appealing for a penalty but the referee isn't interested. No VAR either...

In case you're wondering, it's not possible for either of these sides to meet Italy before the final.

If Norway do not get hold of Nikita Parris this game is going to be over. There's no pressure on the England midfield and they are being allowed to pop the ball all over.

That's the second big chance England have had to make it 2-0.

Is it a second? NO!

Nikita Parris lifts it over the top for Ellen White. The England top scorer takes a good first touch on the right-hand side of the box before slamming it against the far post.

I thought it was in!

Lucy Bronze gives the ball away on the edge of the Norway box and Fran Kirby loses out on the rebound.

Demi Stokes is smart and hangs back, which stops the counter-attack. England need to be careful they don't push too many players forward at once.

England started off so well - really on the front foot. This has happened throughout this World Cup, they have had phases and stages where they've got a little sloppy.
