There were nerves in Battersea Park as the crowd watched the national anthems.

Alice Delaney, a 24-year-old researcher from Lincoln, says: "When you watch the men play, you expect them to lose. When the women play you feel nervous because you know they could win."

The USA's free-kick on the edge of the box is swung across goal. It's inches away from Alex Morgan, who can't quite reach it.

It's not the total sellout that we were expecting, but it'll still be right up there among the largest crowds many of these Lionesses have played in front of.
