It’s packed here at National Harbor, where fans have crowded the waterfront area to get a glimpse of the game on the big screen. It’s a real family affair, with young and old in the red, white and blue to watch the final.
I’ve seen one orange hat, but otherwise it’s pretty clear who everyone is here to support. A huge roar went up for the Star Spangled Banner as everyone stood to observe the anthem. It’s another hot day in Maryland and everyone is hoping the USA can raise the temperature even further.

[On England's tournament] Four years ago, it was making history and there was a lure to finishing third, but this time around there wasn't maybe the same impetus. It is really hard to get up for it after the disappointment of the semi-final.
"This tournament has really put a smile on my face, from the quality of the football to the political stances some of the teams have taken. I feel really proud of where women's football is now."
