GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-2 Man Citypublished at 82 mins

    Luka Milivojevic

    Oh hello!

Captain fantastic is at it again. He smashes it low and under the wall (a pretty terribly set-up wall actually!). It flies into Ederson's bottom right corner and the keeper can't reach it.

    Is there a comeback on?

Jams McArthur is blocked by Vincent Kompany on the edge of the area after a clumsy tackle from Ilkay Gundogan.

It means Palace have a free-kick in a very dangerous position. Luka Milivojevic is over this...

James: Even if they lose I'm happy with the team selection today. It's great to see Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek starting. They're the future and possess more game changing abilities than other squad players.

Leroy Sane skips into the box and he looks to be clear but Aaron Wan-Bissaka makes a smart tackle to concede a corner.

Sergio Aguero is just walking down the tunnel now. He doesn't look too comfortably actually. Has he picked up a knock?

When Palace do win the ball back, they can barely reach the halfway line before being swallowed up.

It's impressive from City and they haven't really got into third gear.

Simon, Warrington: The City score doesn't change things for me - if Liverpool are two points clear at the end of today then they will go on and win the league, with Spurs & Man Utd to upset City in the coming weeks.

Bernardo Silva's diagonal ball is chased into the corner by Raheem Sterling. He keeps it there for a few seconds before slipping it back to Bernardo Silva.

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Man City

    Efan Ekoku
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Crystal Palace have never looked like they could create an opportunity let alone score a goal. They can only hope for complacency from Manchester City, perhaps if they don’t want to use up too much energy with the games they have coming up.

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester City just keep you penned in. Crystal Palace struggled to get out of their penalty area for three or four phases, resulting in Sane’s cross-shot and a scuffed shot from Sterling. He perhaps didn’t catch it as well as he would have liked but it still went in.

  20. CLOSE!published at 70 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Man City

It's fizzed into the box towards Christian Benteke and he has to acrobatically volley it but it's a scuffed effort and Ederson moves low to his right to make a routine save.

That's probably the closest Palace have come though.
