    Chelsea 0-0 Brighton

Callum Hudson-Odoi looking to make things happen for Chelsea and his low cross finds link man Olivier Giroud, but his shot is blocked. Brighton have a man down injured so Glenn Murray is warming up.

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Harry Kane lines up a free-kick about 22 yards out - strikes it well but it hits the top of the wall and flies away to safety.

Dele Alli is now booked for a trip. The first man in the book in the new ground.

  3. 'Spurs have to crank the pressure up'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

I like the way Spurs are set up. Dele Alli is getting plenty of the ball and Spurs are controlling the game, but they have got to start making it tell.

With 25 minutes gone, they have to crank the pressure up on Crystal Palace.

BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

After the ceremonials, the serious business has started in Spurs' new stadium and Crystal Palace are not here to simply join in the celebrations.

Spurs have had a couple of openings but Palace have done their first job of just subduing the party mood.

Mauricio Pochettino's side looking for a spark of inspiration.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:13 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

Should be two! Kevin de Bruyne is just far too good for Cardiff tonight as he again just walks past two defenders on the left of the area. It's a similar spot to where he scored but this time he chops a ball back, Gabriel Jesus and a defender reach it at the same time and it squeezes wide...

Mo: The best team in the country, one of the best in the world, a crucial match in the title race, yet so many empty seats at the Etihad.

David: Come on Cardiff otherwise for one game only I’ll be supporting Man United

    Luke: Spurs Stadium is amazing.

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Spurs a point behind Arsenal as it stands, they could really do with a win tonight. Would be a bit flat if they don't win on their big night in their new home. Spurs are pinging it about nicely, Dele Alli is deeper in midfield again.

  8. Postpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

Panic stations at the back for Cardiff but they do just about get it clear. Here come City again but Riyad Mahrez telegraphs his cut inside and he's tackled, to the sound of a few groans.

A lot of you have been in touch about the attendance, or lack of, at the Etihad tonight. It's a can of worms I'm not fond of opening but yes, it looks far from full.

Great stuff from Dele Alli who lofts a beaut of a pass over the top, Xavi-esque. Christian Eriksen runs on to it and seems to be a bit confused whether he should head or volley it, in the end he leaves it altogether and the ball nearly ends up floating in on the full!

It looks like Oleksandr Zinchenko has tweaked his hamstring and I don't think it is a major concern. Kyle Walker is a more than capable replacement.

    Chelsea 0-0 Brighton

More patient Chelsea build-up but Olivier Giroud can't get a shot on target as he turns and takes one on the spin. Then there's Brighton's first effort as Solly March volleys wide on the stretch.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

Here comes Kyle Walker, Oleksandr Zinchenko has got an injury just a few days before the FA Cup semi-final. That should mean that Danilo will go over to left-back.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:02 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

As soon as I say that Spurs do have a decent chance, a good ball switched out to Kieran Trippier on the right, he finds Christian Eriksen inside and his low shot is well clawed out by Vicente Guaita. Good save.

  14. Postpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace will be pleased with this start. They've arguably had the best chance of the night so far.

  15. De Bruyne back to his best?published at 20:01 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

If City are to do the Quadruple, they will surely need Kevin de Bruyne back to his best - although admittedly they have coped pretty well without him when he has been injured for the majority of this campaign.

His early strike tonight was only his second Premier League goal of the season, with his only other one coming in the defeat by Crystal Palace on 22 December.

At the moment it looks like there could be more on their way. City have had 85% of possession in the first 15 minutes, and Cardiff just cannot clear their lines. The Bluebirds have only managed 16 passes so far, and only eight of them have found a team-mate.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:00 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

Gabriel Jesus could have already filled his boots tonight! Bruno Manga, who I just praised a second ago, duffs a clearance straight to the Brazilian but he can only shoot over the top. Kyle Walker is going to come on by the looks of it in an early change.

  17. Postpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Man City 1-0 Cardiff

Well played Bruno Manga! The Cardiff man has to make a sliding block to cut out a cross from Oleksandr Zinchenko and deny Gabriel Jesus another tap-in. Could be a long old night for the Bluebirds' back four.

    Chelsea 0-0 Brighton

First glimpse of what Callum Hudson-Odoi can do, driving in from the right wing, getting the ball on his left like Arjen Robben, but his shot is deflected over the top.

  20. Postpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 3 April 2019

    Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Son gets the Spurs fans back onto their feet with a weaving run across the line of the penalty area, Harry Kane is free but he can't find him and Christian Eriksen rather miscues a shot wide from 16 yards. Eriksen is then stopped in his tracks by a fine challenge.
