Eden Hazard (60 mins)
That is gorgeous! A wonderful goal from Eden Hazard. Ruben Loftus-Cheek finds the Belgian 10 on the edge of the area, he leaves Lewis Dunk in an absolute state with a bodyswerve and then curls it into the far corner.
Wonderful, vintage goal.
Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace
The table changes again at the top after that Spurs goal. Chelsea are back down in the Europa League zone.
Tottenham 1-0 Crystal Palace
That's lightened the mood inside the new ground!

It needed a little bit of magic or a bit of luck. Spurs have got that luck and it went to Son Heung-Min. What a day to get it.
Son Heung-min (55 mins)
Big goal! Big player! Big deflection!
Christain Eriksen wins the ball back from Luka Milivojevic and sends the ball out to Son on the right of the area, he cuts inside on to his left foot, Milivojevic has done well to make up ground but can only get a toe onto the ball and guide it into the bottom corner.
Chelsea 1-0 Brighton
All a bit pedestrian from Chelsea but remember, as it stands they are moving back into the top four at Tottenham's expense.

Neil Etheridge spread himself well. It was good feet by Phil Foden to take the ball away from the defender but the Cardiff goalkeeper came out well.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
It's been all Spurs but that's close at the other end! Fine effort on the corner of the area from Michy Batshuayi as he works the ball onto his right foot and bends it just wide. That was close!
Harry Kane then gets a shot away in a very packed area but it's charged down.
Man City 2-0 Cardiff
Fine stop! Phil Foden bursts into the area with a well-timed run, he goes for the near post but Neil Etheridge saves well with the crook of his arm. Almost the perfect way to mark his first Premier League start.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
Danny Rose miscontrols a long ball out to him on the wing. a few groans from the crowd. Spurs need to step it up a touch here...
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
Spurs win a corner which Kieran Trippier launches over the top. A child spies the chance to bag an opening night souvenir and tries to get the ball away to safety but an adult snitches on him.
Boooooo.

Spurs need to cash in on Eriksen. He has been so poor over the last few games. Dreaming of Madrid maybe?

Is anybody genuinely confused/annoyed about this? I once had a complaint about calling Bradford 'Bradford' as I may have meant Park Avenue, and not City.
Sorry, Bradford City...
Can you please stop your pundits using 'City' when talking about the Manchester City vs Cardiff City game? Ok, there may only be one team in the game at the moment but it just adds to the feeling that you're all 'proper Premier League types' and Welsh teams are barely acknowledged. Your pundits should try and remain professionally objective as it impacts on the trust in your sports journalism. Most readers/ listeners/ viewers will see them as representing the views of the BBC.

Spurs have GOT to get a goal, if only to take the pressure off themselves. Palace have rattled Spurs this season and have little reason to if you compare form over the last 30 matches.

Why is City's stadium half empty? Chance to go top with five games to go - do half the fans just think it's a foregone conclusion?

If Pep needs to shake it up he has two subs left and has Sterling, Gundogan and both Silvas available...

It was a brilliant start by Man City and they came flying out of the blocks. Kevin de Bruyne's goal was exceptional but then they continued to dominate possession without creating many chances. Leroy Sane's brilliant goal has given them that breathing room and they are cruising.
