    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Wed

And there's another bit of dodgy goalkeeping - this time by Norwich stopper Tim Krul.

Fernando Forestieri tries his luck from about 40 yards, it has little power, but the ball bounces awkwardly in front of Krul and he just about palms it away.

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Wed

Norwich playmaker Marco Stiepermann smashes the free-kick from 20 yards but it's straight at Cameron Dawson who palms it over the bar.

The corner comes to nothing. As you were.

Oh my word, what a nervy moment for Sheffield Wednesday's replacement goalkeeper Cameron Dawson.

He comes charging out to meet a long ball over the top but catches it outside the area. Out comes the yellow card.

Free-kick in a dangerous area for Norwich.

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday are enjoying plenty of possession in these early stages.

Steven Fletcher sees a couple of shots from the edge of the area blocked by yellow shirts and the ball is eventually cleared.

Then Teemu Pukki works a bit of space at the other end and bends an effort over the bar. End to end.

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Wed

It's fairly easy to see why Norwich are on the verge of winning promotion.

They haven't lost since a 3-1 defeat at Preston in mid-February and have picked up 26 points from a possible 30 thereafter.

    Form.

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Wed

Straight from kick-off the Championship's top scorer Teemu Pukki sprints forward with the ball and makes it to the edge of the box before losing it.

Intent from Norwich in the first 20 seconds.

    Here come the teams.

It's a wonderful atmosphere at Carrow Road - but I guess Canaries fans have got plenty to cheer about at the moment.

I'm just hearing that Owls goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has been injured in the warm up and so in comes Cameron Dawson.

How will that affect Steve Bruce's men?

The players are making their way into the tunnel.

It's a glorious evening in Norfolk, still t-shirt weather.

This is not meant to happen over Easter!

You can imagine there have been mixed feelings among Norwich fans this afternoon.

First, there was the minor disappointment that Sheffield United's win over Nottingham Forest means that the Canaries cannot win promotion this evening.

But then Wigan's surprise win at Leeds ensured that actually they now have one foot in the Premier League.

However, the equation remains unchanged. Take a maximum of six more points and Daniel Farke's side will be mixing it with the big boys again next season.

Daniel Farke makes just one change to the side which drew at Wigan on Sunday. Midfielder Moritz Leitner comes in for Todd Cantwell who drops to the bench.

Norwich XI: Krul, Aarons, Zimmermann, Godfrey, Lewis, Trybull, Leitner, McLean, Stiepermann, Hernandez, Pukki.

Subs: Oxborough, Vrancic, Klose, Tettey, Hanley, Srbeny, Cantwell.

Standing in Norwich's way this evening are an Owls side whose own play-off dreams have all-but ended.

Picking up just four points from their past four matches has seen Steve Bruce's men slip eight points shy of the top six.

They can still make the play-offs - but I wouldn't put my house on it. Or the fiver in my wallet.

The promotion scenario is pretty straightforward for Daniel Farke's men.

If they take six points from their remaining four matches they return to the top flight for the first time in three years.

The Canaries may well need less than that, depending on how Leeds and Sheffield United do over the next couple of weeks.

But tonight, they'll want three points to get the ball rolling...

Thanks Adam. What a day we've had in the EFL so far.

It's certainly a picture perfect evening at Carrow Road. But will it be a perfect performance from the Championship leaders?

So that's us done for the day with League One.

More to come tomorrow as we hinted with leaders Luton Town in action at tea time.

Now, it's time for the final course in our Good Friday banquet of footballing action.

We're off to Carrow Road and Norwich where the smell of promotion to the Premier League is getting ever stronger for the hosts.

To take you through all that - I'll leave you in the very capable hands of Gary Smee...

    FT: Sunderland 2-0 Doncaster

Here's what that - and the rest of Friday's results - have done to the top of the League One table.

Barnsley, Sunderland and Portsmouth all close the gap on leaders Luton, who play Accrington tomorrow, but the trio remain separated by two points, with the Tykes having played a game more.

Doncaster remain sixth, four points clear of Peterborough, who drew with Fleetwood.
