And that's half-time at Carrow Road.

    Utter, utter domination from Norwich.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 44 mins

    Norwich 3-0 QPR

QPR defender Joel Lynch has had enough of Norwich's pretty passing, it seems. He goes straight through the back of Marco Stiepermann on the edge of his own box and is rightly booked.

Stiepermann sends the free-kick over the bar.

Seven Fields: Wow! Some of the football Norwich are playing is a joy to watch.

Huzzy Mustafa: With Norwich most likely being promoted this season, would love Suarez back at LFC. Purely to bang in a few more.

Didn't Luis Suarez score a hat-trick every time he played Norwich or something? Think of the Fantasy points...

    Teemu Pukki

Oh my word. QPR only have themselves to blame here as Norwich take a 3-0 lead.

Toni Leistner plays a dreadful pass, putting his midfield under all sorts of pressure, and Norwich take advantage.

One bloke you don't want to see bearing down on your goal is Teemu Pukki, who makes no mistake.

League goal number 25 of the season for the little Finn.

  5. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

QPR have their first attempt on goal - Angel Rangel, who has moved across to left-back with Jake Bidwell off injured, drills a shot from the edge of the box and Tim Krul is down to save neatly.

  6. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

A nice ball over the top and Norwich are clean through again. Emi Buendia is denied by Joe Lumley at his near post.

James Burke: If QPR come back in this I'd start believing in miracles.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 34 mins

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

QPR are forced into a first-half substitution - left-back Jake Bidwell is carrying a knock and Toni Leistner comes on to replace him.

I've not seen a team dominate a Championship match this season as much as Norwich are doing here. QPR just don't have an answer.

Onel Hernandez has a chance similar to the one Emi Buendia buried earlier in the first half, but he drags this effort wide.

  10. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

Norwich get a free-kick 25 yards out on the right, which Kenny McLean nearly sticks into the North Sea. Not his best delivery.

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

Goodness me, this could and should have been a cricket score in Norwich's favour already.

Marco Stiepermann's cross picks out Emi Buendia, and an uncertain bit of goalkeeping from Joe Lumley is just about enough to prevent the Canaries making it 3-0.

    Your favourite crazy finishes

Norwich have had a great start today, but they've been responsible for plenty of the incident-packed finishes we've seen in the Championship this season.

We've also had Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday scoring 101st-minute equalisers and Aston Villa coming from 3-0 down after 80-odd minutes to draw with Sheffield United.

Mine happened a year ago today - I saw Wolves win 1-0 at Cardiff, who missed TWO stoppage-time penalties. My friend Adam was celebrating so much that his glasses fell off and this is what happens when football fans jump all over your glasses...

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

Onel Hernandez is put through and the Norwich man tries to lift his angled effort over Joe Lumley, but it flashes just wide of the post.

See top line of previous entry...

This time it's Onel Hernandez, last week's match-winner at Middlesbrough, who almost repeats his goal at the Riverside but his low effort is too close to Joe Lumley.

    Norwich 2-0 QPR

This is looking far too easy for Norwich, who are carving through QPR at will at times.

Marco Stiepermann fancies another goal but his attempted dink over the goalkeeper is deflected away to safety.

John Eustace's only previous managerial experience before today was two years in the National League North with Kidderminster Harriers.

The former Derby and Stoke midfielder - in caretaker charge after Steve McClaren was sacked earlier this week - won't have been happy with the freedom afforded to Norwich's attackers for their two early goals.

    Marco Stiepermann

A good start gets even better for the Championship leaders, who are well on course for that eighth consecutive win now.

Marco Stiepermann turns 30 yards out, dribbles to the edge of the box and fires a powerful low shot which creeps under the arm of QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley.

    Norwich 1-0 QPR

A cracking start for Norwich, who will go eight points clear at the top of the Championship (for a couple of hours at least) if they can register their eighth successive victory.

Leeds and Sheffield United have tricky looking away fixtures starting at 15:00 BST.

    Emi Buendia

    Norwich in front!

A crossfield ball picks out right-back Max Aarons in loads of space, he controls nicely and crosses to an unmarked Emi Buendia to sidefoot home from close range.

  20. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Norwich 0-0 QPR

Norwich go straight up the other end and Teemu Pukki, who is up for the Championship Player of the Year prize at tomorrow's EFL awards ceremony, fires a shot from a tight angle that Joe Lumley catches cleanly.

    An open start.
