Colchester United are in dreamland at Sincil Bank.

It's a comedy of errors as Imps keeper Josh Vickers slips as he is trying to clear a short back-pass.

Sammie Szmodics latches onto the loose ball and turns it into an empty net.

That's his second goal of the game and the U's are doing all they can to reach the play-offs. It's a nightmare first half for champions Lincoln on what was meant to be a day of celebration.

  2. goal

GOAL: Macclesfield 0-1 Cambridgepublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Paul Lewis (44 mins)

Well now. This has just made things interesting.

Paul Lewis blasts a strike past Macclesfield keeper Kieran O'Hara to score against his former side and put Cambridge a goal up.

As it stands, Macclesfield still aren't down, but if it stays like this and Notts County win, the Silkmen will return to the National League after one season in League Two.

  3. Postpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Macclesfield 0-0 Cambridge

Macclesfield yet again get the chance to potentially put this game to bed against Cambridge and wrap up their EFL survival before half-time as it stands.

Callum Evans puts in a lovely challenge on Harrison Dunk who tees up Harry Smith.

However, his follow up shot picks up a deflection and is collected by Cambridge keeper Dimitar Mitov.

  4. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Forest Green 0-0 Exeter

Almost a freak opening goal for the visitors.

Pierce Sweeney plays a cross in from the left after a corner is half-cleared by Rovers.

The wind catches the ball and it bounces off the top off the crossbar.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Lincoln 0-2 Colchester

Colchester look like scoring every time they come forward.

Sammie Szmodics almost gets his second goal of the game, but sees his shot across goal beat Imps keeper Josh Vickers and hit the post.

  6. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Swindon 0-0 Notts County

There's a penalty appeal at the County Ground and Swindon feel they should have been given a spot kick.

Kaiyne Woolery goes for goal but his shot is blocked by the visitors before Ali Koiki goes down but referee Stephen Martin waves away their protests for a penalty.

  7. Postpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Macclesfield 0-0 Cambridge

There's not an awful lot happening at the Moss Rose right now, not that that will be bothering Sol Campbell and his Macclesfield Town side.

They're staying in the EFL if the scores stay as they are. So far Cambridge haven't found a way to test the Macclesfield defence.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Forest Green 0-0 Exeter

    Frustration for Exeter.

Lee Martin crosses and Ryan Bowman gets in front of his man to send a powerful header goalwards, but it comes back off the post.

The Grecians are carving out chances but can't find a cutting edge.

    Swindon 0-0 Notts County

It's not going well for Notts County so far. As it stands they're down from the English Football League and they're down a player, too.

Shaun Brisley fails to shake off a knock and is hauled off for of Enzio Boldewijn with 25 minutes gone.

  12. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 0-2 Colchesterpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Sammie Szmodics (27 mins)

Colchester double their lead and their dreams of the play-offs are very much alive.

Sammie Szmodics heads in a cross, and as things stand the U's are up into seventh - ahead of Exeter on goals scored.

That could all change if Newport equalise at Morecambe or the Grecians find an opener in their game at Forest Green...

But are champions Lincoln already on the beach? Danny Cowley will not be impressed with his side's showing so far.

    MK Dons 1-0 Mansfield

Almost a second goal for MK Dons as Chuks Aneke has an effort cleared off then line by Mal Benning.

That intervention from the wing-back has kept the Stags in the game.

With Bury currently losing at home to Port Vale, Paul Tisdale's side are moving up to second as it stands.

  14. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Macclesfield 0-0 Cambridge

Big chance for Macclesfield to take the lead against Cambridge!

Elliott Durrell picks up the ball from long range and launches a thunderous shot which picks up a deflection and sails wide of the mark.

We're midway through the first half and the Silkmen are edging this game and as it stands, their way to EFL survival.

  15. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Swindon 0-0 Notts County

Notts County are fighting for their English Football League status today and they are doing well here but will need to force a goal against Swindon and soon if they are to avoid the drop to the National League.

Jim O'Brien fires a free-kick in to the Swindon box which is headed out for a corner which ultimately comes to nothing.

20 minutes in and the Magpies haven't found the net just yet.

  16. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 0-1 Colchesterpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Brennan Dickenson (22 mins)

But, with Newport losing, that opens the door to Colchester United.

The U's take the lead away at champions Lincoln, as Brennan Dickenson turns home Sam Saunders' corner.

If Newport lose and Exeter draw - as they are at the moment - then a win by two or more goals will be enough for John McGreal's side to pinch the final play-off slot.

  17. goal

GOAL: Morecambe 1-0 Newportpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Aaron Collins (20 mins)

Big goal in the play-off picture.

Steven Old pops a long ball over the top and Aaron Collins holds off his defender to smash home a shot.

That goal means that a draw would be enough for Exeter to leapfrog County and finish seventh.

  18. Postpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    MK Dons 1-0 Mansfield

Mansfield are forced into a chance through injury, with Ben Turner replacing Matt Preston at the heard of the defence.

  19. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    MK Dons 1-0 Mansfield

Mansfield have responded well to going behind, with Willem Tomlinson and Neal Bishop having efforts saved by Dons keeper Lee Nicholls.

  20. Missed penalty for Stevenagepublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Stevenage 0-0 Cheltenham

Stevenage need to win and hope other results go their way to make the play-offs - this isn't going to help.

Kurtis Guthrie is brought down in the box, he steps up to take the penalty but his spot kick is saved by Cheltenham stopper Scott Flinders. Still goalless.
