Sharkey via text: And so the over hyped appointment of a man who we all knew would get the United job begins. Big deal. He will be found out next season and sacked by crimbo. The wheel will fall off mark my words. If he don't get sacked by crimbo I will quit my job and Britain.

Ollie via text: Liverpool fan here. Ole's appointment is no surprise. He's got the club winning again, whilst looking good and entertaining. It just means United fans will be back to their arrogant selves......shame.

  17. What does Solskjaer need at Man Utd?published at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 28 March 2019

    #bbcfootball or 81111

Jamie in Bournemouth: United need a young world class centre back, Varane or De Ligt would be nice. A right winger so all our attacks don't constantly come from the left (Jadon Sancho anyone?) a right back (or just play Diogo Dalot more often), and a central midfielder wouldn't go amiss, Adrien Rabiot on a free would be a great signing.

Aled in Wilmslow: Ole's appointment is perfect. I am not concerned that it's off the back of 2 defeats. He's got the team playing proper attacking football and he has breathed life into the club. Needs to be given time though.

  18. Price needs to be right for Rice - Pellegrinipublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 28 March 2019

West Ham v Everton (Sat, 17:30 GMT)

Manuel Pellegrini has warned the Premier League's big teams they will need to pay a huge fee if they want to tempt Declan Rice away from West Ham.

Midfielder Rice, 20, is already being linked with Manchester United following his successful first England appearances against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

But Hammers boss Pellegrini said: "In that case, as always, it is just a matter of price. There are big teams who decide to pay an important amount of money. Sure, if it is a good deal for the club and the player and improves his career, then we can do it. But I don't know nothing about that yet."
