Declan Gallagher had an early goal disallowed for the hosts after fouling his marker as he grappled to nod a corner into the net.

Ryan Hardie has twice come close, forcing Gary Woods to stop his 20-yard effort and lashing narrowly wide soon after.

And Craig Halkett, back from injury, drew a good save from Woods with a header from another corner in the final few minutes of the half.

With St Mirren and Dundee both trailing, a point here would do very nicely for Accies in their battle to beat the drop. But Brian Rice's men have lost Aaron McGowan to an early injury, with Alex Gogic replacing him.

Callum Hendry's strike separates the sides at the break in a breathless Tayside derby. The 21-year-old clipped home a Richard Foster 17 minutes in and it's a surprise that's the only goal so far.

Bottom club Dundee have had their fair share of chances, most of them falling to Kenny Miller. The veteran striker should have found a finish when he rounded keeper Zander Clark before dallying too long on the ball.

Easily the best bit of quality in the match so far there from Accies, as David McMillan’s incisive, angled pass finds Alex Gogic careering down the right, but the Serbian’s cross narrowly misses the forehead of George Oakley.

Dundee's Martin Woods unleashes a 25-yarder that almost catches Zander Clark unawares, the keeper getting a hand to the ball to touch it wide.

Olivier Ntcham goes to the keeper's left but he can't beat Vaclav Hladky. Good save for the keeper but a good height for him. The rebound falls to Ntcham but he can only fire it over the top, with maybe a nick off the crossbar.

Chances are piling up at both ends in a Perth thriller. Dundee striker Kenny Miller fires over the bar with an angled effort from 16 yards before Saints' Chris Kane takes a fresh-air swipe with the goal gaping after a fine cutback from Ross Callachan.

Livingston have the ball in the net. Typically, it's from a set-piece - but Declan Gallagher's back-post header is disallowed after the defender was judged to have fouled his marker.

The footage suggests that's the correct call - Gallagher was all over Scott McMann as he muscled his way towards the ball.
