Joshua Edwards: The tallest tree in the world can't be cut down, it will only fall when it rots from within... Manchester United proving that maxim to the hilt. Rotten performances. rotten lazy players, rotten board, rotten self-entitled supporters.

Gary Cahill is getting the bumps. A club legend? He won two Premier Leagues, two FA Cups, a League Cup, a Champions League and a Europa League trophy with the club.

    AKA the lot.

It sounds daft to people of my age but for how much longer can Manchester United be considered 'a huge club?'

Since Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United have finished seventh, fourth, fifth, sixth, second and now fifth or sixth.

Once it gets to 10 years since a title does that become a hard slide to reverse? Can you see them winning it in the next couple of years?

    Phil Brown
former Hull City manager on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a poor season from United. You go back to the change of manager and as a caretaker he had an 80 percent win rate. I don't want to blame the manager though.

The recruitment over the last two years has not been good enough and that's the reason they are in the position they are in.

Top players will turn their backs on Manchester United now. They'll go to clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea instead.

Chelsea defender David Luiz, speaking to the Premier League: "It was good for us, we got our opportunity, we scored and then we killed the game.

"The schedule is tough, but when you have fantastic players, more than just 11, we can rotate and have the same quality. We have that. It's tough but it's tough for everybody.

"We did well to get the three points but we have to still fight until the end."

Matthew Noble: Surely this must be a new low in United's season dropping points to Huddersfield. Credit to Huddersfield though today they have played well and deserved this

Colin Reardon: What an embarrassment of a #MUFC, external team this is! A disgrace to the history of this once great club!

Calvin Dolan: It's embarrassing to see Newcastle give Liverpool a real game and United struggle against a relegated Huddersfield, typical United. Awful just awful

Justin Gale: I want to see Solksjaer come out after the game saying that every player is playing for their future. Not good enough

Hugh Rodger: You could honestly make a case for this United team, on current form, to be one of the worst teams in Premier League history. Name a single positive about them.

Paul Pogba is the first Man Utd player to hit the woodwork twice in a Premier League game since Antonio Valencia against Cardiff in January 2014.

Darren Harvey: If I was OGS, for the final game of the season against Cardiff, I would drop the whole squad of 18 and play our under 21s. Not fit enough to wear the shirt

Chowkidar: Why should Ole be given a transfer window? Mourinho was sacked because the results aren't good. His results in the recent weeks have been worse than anything in 3 years of Jose. Same should be the case for Ole. Sack him at the end of the season.

Mikey Gear: How is this a man Utd team? This is utterly embarrassing, the fact that Young/Jones are the center-backs..and we nearly ate Jose alive when he had McTominay back there

People need to cut Sanchez some slack. Plagued by injury and therefore limited minutes. Guess everyone has forgotten his 24 goal league season with Arsenal 16/17?? Form is temporary, class is permanent. Hope he stays to prove everyone wrong next season!

    James Parker
