Sloppy from Brighton, who switch off from the corner.

Mathew Ryan makes a very good save there.

Arsenal threaten from a corner but Shkodran Mustafi can't get it on target. It's actually a pretty good save from Mat Ryan, who was unsighted.

Brighton have grown into this half and looked more of a threat down the left-hand side.

Solly March has been a good outlet for them.

Bernd Leno remains the busier keeper - saving from Solly March and his cross/shot from the left. A few groans from the stands, Arsenal far from sparkling at the moment.

Pascal Gross whips in a corner which very nearly goes straight in - not convincing from Bernd Leno who was facing the wrong way at one point!

Solly March dribbles his way into the Arsenal penalty area and shoots into the side-netting as Brighton continue to pose a danger on the break. We've now been shown 18 angles of the penalty incident and not one looks like a clear penalty to me. What would VAR have done?

On the evidence of today's three games I'm not sure the Premier League really deserves four participants does it?

  8. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Brighton

We've not had a shot on goal since the goal, as Brighton now look to threaten on the break. Ah terrible pass out by Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno! Straight to Solly March but Glenn Murray's shot is charged down in the end.

Save! Leno redeems himself a touch by saving Murray's downward header. End of a good spell from the visitors.

Don't shoot the messenger (yeah, right) but Sokratis' yellow was the sixth Arsenal have been shown in the Premier League this season for diving, at least two more than any other side (Tottenham, four).

    Still a pretty scrappy game.

Manchester United captain Ashley Young speaking to Sky Sports: "Their goal is tough to take. We needed other people to help us but we had to help ourselves first and we haven't done that today. We let them get back into, it's a party atmosphere for them, it's a cup final to play against Man United. It feels like a defeat."

Why United are struggling: "I'm not sure what it is, its a number of things. It's a disappointment now we can't make the top four. We must go away and be ready to go again.

"We haven't been playing the way we should, that's why we are where we are in the league table. It's a massive blow for a club like Manchester United. It's not what we want to be talking about, fighting for top four, we want trophies and titles.

"It's been tough, we haven't been fighting for titles and its a massive disappointment. We must come back next season ready to win."

Hughton out? The second half of this season has been a real struggle for Brighton.

The Seagulls now want a penalty as Pascal Gross hits a free-kick into the wall, it hits Sokratis on the top of the shoulder but he had turned away from the ball. Not sure he could avoid that one.

You know it's a stonewall pen when the defender puts his arms up above his head after the tackle.

    Marlo

We have to change this absurd notion that a player is entitled to go to ground after any kind of contact. It's cheating. If I did that on the Tube and claimed I'd been assaulted I'd be ridiculed.

    Luke, Brighton

Thank you Palace for saving Brighton... now time for Chris Hughton to go. Thanks for the memories but you are completely outclassed at this level

  14. 'It feels like defeat'published at 16:47 British Summer Time 5 May 2019

    Huddersfield 1-1 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Ashley Young speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We knew we needed other teams to help us but we need to help ourselves first and we didn't do that. We've drawn, it feels like we've lost.

"They hit us with one long kick, its disappointing to concede any goal but especially like that.

"Manchester United should be about winning titles and trophies and it hasn't been like that for a few years now. I'm sure Ole and his staff will go away and work on things for next season."

On why Manchester United have struggled post-Ferguson: "I'm not sure why. I'm not sure anyone can put their finger on why it has gone so wrong. There could be a number of reasons."

Sokratis is booked for a dive now. Should Arsenal or Chelsea win the Europa League and finish outside of the top four we would have five Premier League teams in next season's Champions League.

  17. 'The table doesn't lie'published at 16:42 British Summer Time 5 May 2019

    Huddersfield 1-1 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It hurts whenever you don't win a game of football. In a stadium like this with loads of energy, their last game of the season at home, we gave them some hope and we couldn't reach our level again."

On Huddersfield's goal: "Very avoidable, we've conceded too many of those this season. Everton, Wolves, today - its something we must look at and improve on and not do that next season.

"There was always going to be a period in this game Huddersfield would press us because of the energy of the crowd. We had a spell we couldn't get going, now its done, we're disappointed but we have to look forward.

"We haven't deserved to be top four, we've chased the pack and been given chances, the league is so tight. When we got the opportunities we didn't take them.

"The table doesn't lie in the end."

Well, you've got the feeling this could be an absolute mauling.

It's a straight run up from Aubameyang and he whips it in as the keeper dives the other way.

It's a confident penalty and he's been a good signing for Arsenal.

The correct decision from the referee

    Huddersfield 1-1 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the John Smith's Stadium

Manchester United have put themselves in a very tricky situation.

If Watford win the FA Cup, they will be in a Europa League qualifier on 25 July, the same day as they are supposed to have a pre-season match against Tottenham in Shanghai.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has just been talking about it in his post-match press conference.

"It was always a possibility that we would be in the Europa League and if City don’t win the FA Cup we will have a very early start.

"It is not what we want but that is the reality."
